Day 3 - Movie World

Was so excited today. It's the day when the real fun started. Waited impatiently for the Themepark transport to come and fetch us to Movie World. Was quite worried that the transport will be late or fail to turn up but they were very much on time. Exchanged for the 5 days Gold Pass with the bus captain using our prepaid coupon. Think the captain got mixed up and issued us a 7 days pass instead. The Gold pass cost $180 which includes daily Theme Park transfers from our apartment to the main Themeparks and also includes unlimited rides in the surfside network. The themepark transfer needs to be booked by 11am the day before.

Our Bf - turkey breast sandwich

The entrance of the themepark was already very crowded when we arrived. Luckily, it's only the entrance that was crowded. When it opened, everyone dispersed to the various part of the themepark and thus it was not very crowded afterall. Lucky for us or we would end up queuing for the rides.

But not really a smooth day to start with. We queued for the Batwing Spaceshot first but due to some technical problem, it was delayed for 30mins. This is one of the exciting ride that we tried, it shot up to the top within secs and dropped down very fast. Whew... it was fun. Next we tried Batman adventure - The Ride 2 and there's some problem with the system, and again it caused some delay. Tried the rest of the rides like Wild West Falls Adventure Ride (hate it cause it made us all wet and it's not just wet but very wet), Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster (fun and exciting indoor roller coaster ride), Shrek 4D show (just another 4D show), bumper car(the kids love it) and kids ride (the kids find it too childish).

Was quite disappointed that we missed the Hollywood stunt driver show. They wouldn't want to let us in though we were just a few mins late. & we also didn't get to take photo with the Looney Tunes cartoon characters. They were nowhere to be seen, the only time they appeared was during the All stars parade show.

Finally it was our turn to try out the thrill rides like Superman and Lethal Weapon as the kids did not meet the min ht of 1.4m. But grey cloud started to form and the sky was covered with it in no time and and thus the rides were suspended. Hehe... lucky for me cause they look too scary for me and I also didn't want to leave the kids alone when we were playing.

The sky was covered by grey cloud. The rain is coming soon

It's really a blessing as it started raining heavily just when we reached the bus stop. As it was raining, we spend the rest of the night in our apartment. Instant noodle for dinner and enjoying the red wine that we bought.
