Day 5 of our Malaysia Road Trip
Bf at the hotel and checked out.
After we checked out, we went to Sin Yoon Loong for tea break. This place offers authentic Chinese breakfast, coffee, toast, egg tart etc. Was too full to try their toast with Kaya and Butter, and also their popular buttery-spread toast with a soft-boiled egg on top. Only tried their white coffee and egg tart.
Reached KL at around 1+, after around 2hr drive. We had lunch at Fahrenheit88 as it's still early to check in.
We have to be sneaky whenever we leave or return to the hotel as the room is only for 3 pax.
Shop shop shop. From road side stalls, to shopping Sungei Wang area and then to Berjaya Time Square.
More herbal tea and Gui Ling Gao. Think we drank herbal tea almost everyday when we were in Malaysia.
Dinner at Restoran Wong Ah Wah (WAW) 黄亚华烧鸡翅 at Jalan Alor. Wong Ah Wah’s signature roast chicken wings is always the main reason why we always want to come back to KL. Never fail to come here for their chicken wings whenever we were in KL. But it's a bit disappointing this time. It used to be fragrant, smoky, tender, juicy chicken wings with a slight burnt crisp in the skin but it's a bit soggy today but the marination is still perfect. The rest of the dishes are just average.
