Day 1 of our Malaysia Road Trip

The start of our road trip to Malaysia. We will be at Melaka from Day 1 to Day 3 (with Yi Tian, Shirlyn, Peishan and Jingyi), Ipoh from Day 3 to Day 5 and KL from Day 5 to Day 7. Hope Xiao Hei will survive the long distance driving.

We gathered at Yi Tian's place before we moved out. Slight jam at both custom but we managed to clear it within an hour +. Traffic to Melaka was quite smooth and we only stopped for a short bio break. Initially we wanted to chong all the way to Melaka but too bad YT and I need to find a toilet urgently. Sometime I wonder if guys need to pee more than gals cause I was always the one looking for toilet.  We drove at an average of 130 km/hr and reached Melaka around 9+. 

Parked our car at our minsu and we went to Jonker Street to look for food. Our minsu is just 5 mins walk to Jonker Street and cost us $200 a night. It's a 2 storey terraced house with 4 bedrooms and can stay around 20 pax.  Recommended to stay here if you have a large group. There's 大排檔 just outside our minsu from evening onward.

Our bf. Chicken rice ball. Sian. I thought this was the one that we liked (beside San Sui Gong) but it's not. I still told them that this is the best Chicken rice ball in Melaka. Must rembr not to eat here again (the one with the famous food critic (Cai Lan)'s photo) haha

Next we moved on to Jonker 88. Had the famous Laksa and Chendol.

& shopped around Jonker Street.

Then we split way. The rest went for their massage session while we continued shopping at shopping centre and chillax at Starbucks.

We checked in and continued searching for nice food. Chanced upon this fruit juice stall (it's quite near the teochew restaurant). They hv lots of varieties of fruit juice.

Dinner at Portuguese Settlement. Actually wanted to try those stalls facing the sea but ended back at the same old stall that we ate for the past few visits. I have never try those stalls facing the sea as I cannot stand touting. They will chong to us and persuade us to eat at their stalls when we parked our car.

Chill out at a pub beside the restaurant. Drink, chat and play pool. & oh yes, we also arm wrested.  There's also live band performance. We only managed to catch a few songs as we were all tired after a long day.
