Day 3 of our Malaysia Road Trip.

Leave the rest of the group and we traveled to another state of Malaysia, Ipoh. Our first time to Ipoh. Feeling excited. We drove non stop from Melaka to Ipoh, around 350km. Proud of my almost 10yrs old xiao hei. He can still chong all the way to Ipoh despite his age.

Finally at IPOH after 3 hrs+ of driving. We knew we were at IPOH when we see this sign.

Our first stop. We had lunch at Yong Suan Coffeeshop on Jalan Yang Kalsom, famous for its delicious nasi kandar. 

Very long queue for takeaway. For dine in, just find a seat and the shop assistant will attend to us shortly.

Next we had Beancurd at Funny Mountain Soya Bean & Tau Fu Fah

Our room at Regalodge Hotel. Quite a big room with 2 queen sized beds.

Chatting with Mil through Ichat. The wonder of technology

Visited the Art Lane. The Arts are scattered around. The murals are painted on the walls of old buildings with several themes such as heritage, culture, scenery and others by renowned foreign and local artist. 

Heard that there are quite a handful of cafe in IPOH so we decided to visit some. We visited Happy 8 cafe. It's nestles in the ground floor of a boutique hotel. Rooms are available upstairs with different themes and designs. Disappointed with this place. No aircon on a hot day and they didnt put ice in the drinks. We didnt visit the rest of the cafe as we do not want to have another disappointing experience.

At Concubine Lane 二奶巷. Wonder how this place got its name? The secret meeting place for men and their 二奶? Haha

Our 1st shopping experience at IPOH. OMG. There's nothing much here. Beginning to regret coming to IPOH. Gonna spend another 2 days here.

Dinner at Tung Ku Teng also known as Mushroom Bought some DVD back to hotel to watch. Fell asleep as I was really very tired after all the long distance driving.
