Day 9 Taipei Seoul Trip

Bf at Lau Wang Beef Noodle at Ximending. Heard it's one of the best Beef Noodle in Taipei.

There are 2 Beef Noodle shops facing each other.

This is the one. There's no signboard so quite easy to identify.

Yummy looking Beef Noodle. Beef is very tender though it's very thick. The soup is also very spicy and tasty.

Direction to Lau Wang. Just get out from exit 3 and follow the arrow.

Went back to our hotel after our bf and do some final packing before we checked out. As we have too many luggage, we booked the hotel transport to bring us to the airport in the afternoon. Didnt want to pull the luggage to take the subway and walk to Guo Guang Bus Terminal.

As we have nothing much to do, we decided to visit Taipei Zoo.Adult ticket only cost 60NT($2.50) and half the adult price for child. Sibei Cheap. If only ours is as cheap.

It's a wrong day to come to the Zoo cause the weather is damn hot today. Weather forecast said it's around 20+ degrees but it seems like Singapore's weather.

Found another 51Lan (KOI) near Hotel TS. The business is much better as the other one. Maybe becos of the weather.

Our last Smelly Toufu for this trip.

Then we went in to Red House to wallk walk see see look look.

Famous Fried Chicken stall just outside Ximending Station exit 6. Long queue but not very nice.

They are so frdly to poise for us.

Nice starfruit juice also at exit 6.

Eating Ah Zhong Mian Xian again.  Yummy.

Back to hotel and took the hotel transport to Taoyuan Airport. Reached around 8+. A bit kiasu cause our flight is at 12 midnight. Got a shock cause the board show that the flight will be delayed to 12pm the next time. Siao liao. What are we going to do for the next 15hrs or more? Taoyuan Airport is not like our Changi Airport where there are lots of place to sit, sleep or to dine.  Getting out of the airport to Taipei is also another problem as it's very ex to take their taxi and not sure if any of the cab would want to take us as we have so many luggage.

Went to the information counter to ask for help and was told that the nearest hotel is only a few km from the airport. Kennie was very persistent to get out of the airport so that the kids can sleep comfortably. So we asked the information counter to soft book the hotel. Took the Toyota Wish from the airport (luckily it's big enough to put all our luggage) to the hotel. Think the taxi driver was a bit unhappy as he only get to earn 200NT for this trip. Pity him also cause I believed he had queued for very long at the airport.

Pictures of our room. So ex. Cost NT20K a night. Just hope we can claim from the Jetstar or from our travel insurance. Was very disappointed with the way that Jetstar managed the situation. They shd have informed us earlier on the delay and we will not need to waste our time to the airport. We can even go Jiufen in the morning if we know of the delay earlier. #$%^&**. But to think of the positive side, we got to sleep 1 more night in Taipei in this comfortable room.
