Day 7 Taipei Seoul Trip

Bf at 1 of the BBQ restaurants near our hotel. Beside BBQ stuff, they served noodle and porridge as well.
Only served us 2 banchan. So pathetic.
Seafood Instant Noodle.
Abalone Porridge. Where is the Abalone? Kanna con again.
Dumpling. The dumpling a bit er xin. Too much minced meat in it.
A walk at the Cheonggyecheong stream which is just behind our hotel leading towards Dongdaemun Station and many other shopping complexes.

Our hotel at the far right.  Pyoung Hwa Clothing Market. Not sure what is it. A wholesale centre?
More of Cheonggyecheong stream. Apparently it's quite a very famous stream in Seoul which is a few KM long. Can google more for more details.

Sian. Dongdaemum Gate is under construction. Sian. Couldnt take a nice pic of it.

We went to the shoes market which is very near Dongdaemun Gate and Dongdaemun Station. It's a whole street selling only shoes. Nice and budget priced shoes everywhere. Too bad our luggages are full already or I will definitely buy a few pairs back.

Our lunch at Dak Hanmari Alley or Grilled Fish Alley. Dak Hanmari is another kind of Chicken Soup and since it's almost the same like Ginseng Chicken, we tried the Grilled Fish instead. We were lost initially but we show passerby on the picture of the grilled fish shop and was directed there. If you’re looking for a locals-only kind of place to fill your stomach, this wouldn’t be a bad place to do so.
Generous serving of Banchan
Wonderful yummilicious grilled fish

Need to take out our shoes before entering
There's 2 levels in  this restaurant. We were seated at level 2 and the ceiling is so low that I need to hunchback.
Outside the restaurant
Friendly Boss. The whole meal only cost around $20.
Map of Dongdaemun and our hotel
It's shopping time again and it's the last place that we will be visiting before we fly back to Taipei.  Namdaemun Market is a large traditional market in Seoul. The market is located next to Namdaemun, the "Great South Gate," which was the main southern gate to the old city. It is the oldest and largest market in Korea
Map of Namdaemun
There are 6 Gates in Namdaemun Market and we entered from Gate 6 after exiting from exit 5 of the Namdaemun station. Much of the market is outside, but there are also many stores which line the streets.

It's also a place to come for Grade A counterfeit branded stuff. Saw ppl entering into shops and then into another door inside the shop. Am quite sure that Grade A branded stuff could be find there but I'm not gonna risk my life going in there. The staff will definitely force us to buy something if I ever get in there.

Wanderlust Wednesdays: Namdaemun Market

Obasan queuing for Bao. Haha
Lots of Kpop Stuff again
                              Wanderlust Wednesdays: Namdaemun Market

Wanderlust Wednesdays: Namdaemun Market
Silverware which Kennie bought a few sets of chopsticks and Spoon
Street stalls selling delicious looking snack
Cuttlefish
Queuing for the cuttlefish
There's also kid section in the shopping mall (cant rembr the name of the mall)

Our dinner at Galchi Jorim Alley near gate 2. Galchi Jorim (갈치조림) or Belt Fish in Radish Casserole.

Pathetic Banchan. I wonder why some of their shops are so stingy with their Banchan, Is it becos we are tourists?

What a mess. Busy packing our luggage.
Our last night in Seoul. Will need to wake up early tmr to catch the morning flight.
