Day 2 Taipei Seoul Trip

Our Bf at the hotel .Simple food but enough to recharge our energy.
We took a train to Long Shan Temple station. Looking for the nice Bee Hoon Stall that we ate previously in 2007. The shop is just beside the train station and temple. It's still using the same signboard.
At Longshan Temple station

Very nice Bee Hoon Soup

Shark Meat
Pig intestine. Very crunchy. You wun find this anywhere in Sg.
Sotong
Big intestine

Then to Mengjia Longshan Temple (艋舺龍山寺). It is a famous old temple for worshiping Guanshiyin Budda and other divine spirits. Like the precious visit, we did not do any offering to the divine spirits. Just walked around and took photos.

Bought some souvenirs from this stall.

Magnificent Dragon structure.

Look at Veona. Is she trying to imitate a Tiger or Dragon?
Our 3rd meal just within a short span of 2 hours. Nice 鱿鱼焿. The shop is also beside the train station and temple.

Shopped around the underground mall at Longshan Temple Station. Most of the stations at Taipei Subway has underground mall but the shops dun look very impressive.
Fruit stall selling expensive fruits. Think kanna chop by the stallholder.
Underground mall at Longshan Temple Station
Went to Taipei Bus Station to recce the bus station as we will be taking Guo Guang (國光) bus to the airport on Sun.

Enjoying some local favourites at Taipei Bus Station

Guo Guang Bus interchange. It's not in Taipei Bus Station. Need to walk quite a distance from  Taipei Bus Staion
Lunch at Farmosa Chang 鬍鬚張 (Hu Xu Zhang) at Wufenpu. I really missed their Lu Rou Fan. Cheap and super duper nice.
Photobucket
Forgot to take the photo of the restaurant so stole a pic from the net
Their signature rice ‘Mince Pork Rice’ 魯肉飯(lu rou fan)

Pork Knuckle. Sinful.
Bittergourd Soup. Taiwan's bittergourd is very different from us
Si Shen Tang. Love the pig intestine in the soup
Shopping at Wufenpu 五分埔. Cheap and nice clothes in almost every shops. Some shops boasted that their clothes are from Korea. Haha. Why shd I be spending more on Made in Korea clothes when we will be going to Seoul tmr.

After hooting lots of clothes, we walked over to Raohe Night Market 饒河夜市 for dinner. It's just around 10mins walk from Wufenpu and one of the oldest and most famous tourist night markets in Taipei. Beside walking from Wufenpu, it's also very near Songshan train station.

Our main purpose in coming to Raohe Night Market.......... is to eat the 三妈臭臭锅. 臭臭锅 is like hot pot but all the ingredients are already added to the hot pot. Ingredients include beef, pig blood, smelly toufu, vege. Yummilicious.

We added extra serving of pig blood and quail egg. Must eat more pig blood in Taipei as it's banned in Sg.
Ugly looking fish head
Extra serving of Beef. Dun look very fresh.
Extra serving of Smelly Toufu. Smelly The smelly toufu absorbed the broth of the 臭臭锅 and make the smelly toufu more fragrant. The broth become more smelly. Haha

Continued shopping for a while and left cause Kennie having a very bad headache.
