Day 4 of Bangkok Trip
The same old breakfast again.
Walked over to Central World as Kennie wanted to check out the price of the Lingerie.

At H&M |
Back to Platinum Mall for more shopping and we had lunch at Yum Saap – a Thai chain restaurant which was surprisingly good.

Yummy crispy pig skin |

Smelly Toufu anyone? Haha. it's just normal fried toufu with special chilli sauce. |
We visited Asiatique The Riverfront. Getting there by public transport is quite troublesome. Have to take the BTS to Saphan Taksin station and follow the crowd by walking towards the river. Look out for the sign to Asiatique Shuttle Boat and be prepared for a long queue for this free shuttle service!
Open from 5pm till midnight daily, Asiatique The Riverfront was one of the few replacements for Suan Lum Night Market which closed down a couple of years ago.It is filled with various eateries, bars and shops. It’s more of a place for wine and dine instead of shopping as they marked up the price at least 200% as compared to Chatuchak and Platinum Mall.

Dinner at Baan Khanita, a Thai restaurant. Good service, nice food but price is slightly on the higher side.
|
Very Ex codfish. $40+. But the portion is very generous. |
|
Tom Yam Khung. This one is using huge river prawn for the main ingredient, and it was not a disappointment at all. The prawn was fresh and the soup was just perfectly seasoned. |
Seriously there's really nothing much to shop here cause everything is so ex. We just walked around, enjoying the nice view of the place & occasionally stopping to see street performance. Will we be back again? Most likely not. Took a cab back which cost us 250 baht.
