Day 3 - Gold Coast Trip - Movie World

Our bf - smoked salmon and prawn salad.
Waiting for the bus to Movie World. Super hot weather. Have to hide behind the bus stop for shade.
Bad service. The bus just speed past us without stopping.

Today is Movie World day, my favourite themepark in Gold Coast. Weather is super hot today. Have to keep applying sunblock or we will become charred in no time.

We tried all the exciting rides except for Batwing as it's closed for regular maintenance. Pity Cindy and her hubby. They didnt manage to play much as they have to look after their 2 superglue.

The first ride that we took is Superman Escape. The ride do look intimating but again look can be deceiving. We are expecting more than that.  Though  it accelerates from 0 to 100 km per hour in two seconds but it just lack the oomph.
Next we took the Arkham Asylum – Shock Therapy. This ride was newly opened in Apr 2012. It used to be called Lethal Weapon coaster but relaunched as Arkham Asylum – Shock Therapy.

Kennie's favourite roller coaster. Green Lantern Coaster. This was opened in 2011. It holds the record for the steepest drop of any roller coaster in the Southern Hemisphere, and the second steepest in the world.

Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D. I thought it's like our Transformer 3D at USS but it turned out to be a shooting 3D rides. It requires riders to shoot their laser blasters at targets in order to defeat an alien threat. The ride is touted as the world's first Justice League-themed ride and the first ride of its type to feature 3D projections.

Look at the photo. I'm so engrossed with the shooting. Look like small kid right. Lol
Camwhoring after the exciting rides.

Batman show, with Batman arresting Scarecrow after he fights off six ninjas like foot soldiers of the Scarecrow

Our lunch. Standard stuff at themeparks. Burger and chips.

One of the highlights at Movie World is definitely the Hollywood Stunt Driver show. It was incredible and they did some amazing stunts with the car. We missed the show during our last visit so die die must watch this time  :p

Ice Age Dawn of Dinosaurs - The 4D Experience show

At Wild West Falls.

Kids love this ride but the adults are smart cause we didnt want to get wet.

Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster, an indoor roller coaster.

Spotted this cute looking lizard. Actually I was worried that it will attack us.

Er Xin. So near us.
It's not so crowded today so we do not have to queue to take the rides. It actually contra off the short opening hour. We will not be able to complete all the rides if we have to queue for 1 hour for each ride.

Enjoying our home cooked dinner, drinking our favourite red wine and slacking. One of the  reasons why we love Gold Coast. This is life.
