Day 6 Taiwan Trip

We spend the whole day shopping at Taipei Station underground mall and eating and eating. It may sound boring to some but we truly enjoy shopping and eating overseas and we are not really interested in scenic tour. That is why we are always on F&E travel.

Cup noodle for bf bought from a 24-hour convenience store located just opposite CityInn.. Love the cup noodle in Taiwan. 

Touring around the hotel.  Here's the additional facilities and services in this hotel that makes it slightly different from other hotels in Taiwan.  All available in the Basement 1 of the hotel. It has a self service laundry area for guest to use and also a rest & relax corner.

Water Dispenser and Free Tea or Hot Chocolate Machine!

Besides a super comfy couch and a TV in front, there is an entire row of shelves with the latest magazines and even new papers! There were abundance of tables and chairs for everyone and computers with internet access too.

At Taipei train station. Heading towards Qsquare for lunch.

Lunch at Eat Together 饗食天堂 at Qsquare. The price of the buffet and varieties of food really bring Singapore's buffet restaurants to shame. Unlimited serving of sashimi, seafood, branded ice cream, soft drinks, taiwan beer etc for less than $30. Kennie was enjoying it so much that she's thinking of coming back again tomorrow.

Kennie even decorate the claypot with the shell of the lala.

First Christmas tree of the year.

Map of the underground malls surrounding Taipei Main Station. We only managed to shop at sector Y and Z.

Main purpose of going to sector Z is to look for Li Yi Bing Dian 李义饼店for the mouth drooling Tai Yang Bing (太阳饼）(Sun Biscuit).  This is a must try and they have another shop in Jiufen. They are also famous for their pineapple and yam tart.

There's also a very nice smelly toufu at sector Z.

Finally we get to try our favourite Ah Zong Mian Xian. Damn nice.

Cute dog in one of the shops. It even poise for us when we took photo with it. 

Sian. It's our last night here. We will be taking the flight back to Sg tomorrow. Went back hotel to do packing. How I wish we can extend our stay.
