Day 4 Taiwan Trip

This post is clothes heavy since it's a day dedicated to Kennie for shopping.

To have the energy to shop, a heavy bf is definitely a must. We had bf at 高記 located at No. 1 Yongkang Street. It's about 5 mins walk from  Dongmen Station Exit 5. 高記 is just nearby Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐) and they served almost the same food. Xiao Long Bao, Ramen, Dim Sum etc.

Smoothie House at Yong Kang 15, a popular fruit covered snowflake shaved ice shop. Main purpose here is to camwhore and not to eat.

Mingle with the local at the playground.

Reached Wu Fen Pu at 1pm but the place is like a dead town. Was getting worried as I could have overlooked that it's actually their rest day on Sun. So we had lunch at Farmosa Chang 鬍鬚張 (Hu Xu Zhang). We will definitely eat here when we come to Wu Fen Pu. A place not to be missed.

When we returned to Wu Fen Pu after our lunch. Most of the shops were open. Heng ah. Luckily it's open or it will spoil our day. So it's just shopping and shopping. 1 plastic after another. Finally we ended with about 15 plastic bags.

Our final stop for the day, 饒河街觀光夜市Raohe Street Night Market. Coming to Taiwan, is a must to visit their night market! Raohe Night Market is actually quite small, about 600m one way and it can be easily covered in less than 2 hours. Despite its size, it’s one of the best night markets as the food is, really fantastic.

Trying out the nice food.

Smelly pot. A must have when we come to Raohe. The 臭豆腐 is damn awesome.

Look at my face with the awesome 臭豆腐

Kennie likes to buy the shoes from this lady. The designs of the shoes are drawn by her. Damn PRO.

Greedy Videl trying out the sample given out by the shop owner.
