Kids woke up in the middle of the night for bird nest. Kennie said that the best time to absorb the nutrients of the bird nest is in the middle of the night. Dont know how true this claim is.

Dinner at Tsukada Nojo - Bijin Nabe 美人鍋 a.k.a. beauty hotpot at Plaza Singapura. It’s a hotpot using quality collagen soup of free-range JIDORI chicken from Miyazaki, Japan, served with various vegetables, shrimps and other nutritional ingredients. The chicken is boiled for 8 hours and the soup does not have any MSG in it. This costs $25++ per person.

The restaurant don’t take reservations. We were early so we managed to be seated in the first wave. The good thing is, the restaurant will take down your number personally and will give you a call once the table is available for you.

The hotpot arrived at our table containing lumps of collagen pudding, which was actually the chicken collagen soup in its solidified form. It looks more like tau huay.
As the pot was heated up, the collagen melted into concentrated chicken soup.
Minced chicken added into the soup by the waitress.
The waitress added the ingredients into the pot for  us. Looks so nice.
These are the ingredients that come with the hotpot. I would say it's 80% vegetables plus a few skewers of prawns.  The chicken meats are already in the soup.
There were 3 types of noodles for us to choose from and we went for the thin egg noodle.

At the end of the meal, we were presented with this complimentary cubes of desserts on a nicely decorated plate :D
As it was our first visit to Tsukada Nojo, we were promoted to Assistant Manager.

This chart is updated daily. We will be added to Assistant Manager by end of today. If we visit again, we will be promoted to Manager.
Tsukada Nojo is really quite a unique experience on its own. But we still prefer clear stock when it comes to steamboat. The collagen soup is too oily to our liking.

Kennie's new Doc Martein. Hot red. So chio.
