Bangkok Day 2

Woke up early. Didnt sleep well as it's very cold and squeezy. Kids have grown up but we are still sharing 2 single beds. Must add extra bed for future holiday already.

Bf at hotel. The buffet spread is good. Our room include breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child but they didnt charge us extra even though we have 2 adults and 2 children.

View from the restaurants. Central World is just a stone throw from our hotel.
Shopping at Chatuchak. Took the train from Chit Lom to Mo Chit station. Dont really like to shop at Chatuchak as it's really hot there and the stuff are not very cheap.

Kids' favourite ice stick
Map of Chatuchak
Must drink the coffee at Chatuchak. Nice!!

Must eat at Chatuchak, coconut ice cream. They even served us complimentary coconut juice.

Weather really very hot. Left Chatuchak at 11+ and went to Union Mall. Only 1 station from Chatuchak Park to Phahon Yothin. Based on review, Union Mall is very much like Platinum Mall but there are more restaurants in Union Mall as compared to Platinum Mall and there are also more locals there.

Mr Shake. It's like our Sg version's Gong Cha. Can find one in every corner of Bangkok

Our lunch at Seoul Grill. Have to wait for 45min for our turn. Not v fantastic spread but quite cheap. $50 for 4 of us.

Super tired. Back going to break and leg super pain after all the shopping and walking. Think age is really catching up on us. Anyway, didnt really buy much in Union Mall as the stuff are not really very cheap.

Rest and Relax at A&W.

There's a mini night market outside Union Mall. Nothing much to buy as well.

Now come my favourite moment. Dinner time! @ Somboon Seafood Ratchada outlet. It’s located at Huai Kwang Station exit 3. Can make reservations online at http://www.somboonseafood.com/e-ratchada.html. The restaurant is so popular that there are fake one around. Heard that taxi or tuk tuk drivers will bring their customers to the fake one.

The restaurant is famous for their curry crab but I'm thoroughly disappointed with it. There's not even a hint of curry taste and I told the waitress to choose a large crab for me but she has chosen a pathetic small crab for us. The rest of the dishes are very tasty so it's still worth the visit.

$90 for the 6 dishes. Totally worth it.

Dragged ourselves home. Super tired. Kennie and Bao Beis still have the energy to perform fashion show when we went back.
