Bangkok Day 1

Woke up super early cause Kennie always lose sleep whenever we went for holiday. Hehe.. Too excited already.

Woohoo. The start of our shopping and eating trip in Bangkok. 

We took the train to the Airport instead of taking a cab.

We took Cathay to Bangkok as they are having a promo using POSB credit card.  A bit regretted to fly by Cathay as the timing is not very good. Will only reach Bangkok at 3+pm and hotel at 5+. Flight was delayed for 40mins. Sian 1/2.

Waiting to collect our luggage. We are really very kiasu as we are the first to reach  the  conveyor belt.

Took the airport rail link to Ratchaprarop station which cost 40baht and take only 30mins.

The view from Ratchaprapop station. Our hotel (Novotel Platinum) is at the extreme left in the pic. The one with the Thai King. Need to walk around 800m to our hotel. The rain was here to welcome us. Have to walk in the rain to our hotel and ended buying 2 umbrellas halfway through (our first buy in Bangkok).

Our room for the next 4 nights. Everything looks so new and clean. Love it.

Can see through the toilet from the bedroom. Luckily we can activate down the curtain blind.

There's even condom for sale at the mini bar.

Dinner at Central World. Lots of restaurants there. 

MK Restaurants. Famous for their roasted duck and steamboat. Yummy!

The restaurant staffs started to dance and sing halfway through our meal. So cute.

Then to Big C supermarket to stock up some toiletries and snacks. Super tired so we went back to our hotel to rest. Need to rest well so that we have the energy to chong tomorrow.
