A week has passed.

A week has passed just right under my eyes. I'm no longer afraid of Mon as I know that it will soon be weekend. How I wish time can stop for a sec as I really felt that it's moving very fast, even faster than the speed of light. Kids are growing up fast and age is catching up with us. In no time, they will have their own life and I wouldn't want that to come so fast. Sigh....

Videl was having a fever on Mon again. Luckily the fever subsided in the evening. So poor thing, she called me and burst out crying.

Dinner is on our own this week. I'm too proud to apologize to Mil. Blame it to my ego. I should be ashamed of what I have done and not admitting my mistake. Anyway, Mil was magnanimous and cooked our dinner on Thurs. After some hugging and apologizing, everything is back to normal and she got what she want. My IQ may be a bit higher but I definitely lack EQ.

Treetop Walk

Went hiking at Macritchie Treetop walk. Like previous trip, we started from Venus Drive which is much shorter as compared to the route starting from Macritchie Reservoir. The round trip from Venus Drive is approximately 8KM while the round trip from the Reservoir is about 10KM. We will definitely try the longer route the next time.

The sky was very dark when we reached and it seems like it's about to rain. We were comtemplating whether to proceed on or not as it would be very difficult to U-turn if it started to rain. The ground will be very muddy and dirty and it will be worse if there's lightning. Equipped with 2 umbrellas, we decided to press on. Heaven is on our side today as the cloud started to clear off and the hot sun came blazing on us. We have forgotten our inserts repellent and have become the brunch for the mosquitoes.

The trip to the suspension bridge was so much easier as compared to the return trip. As we were tired, it seems forever before we reached the end point.

Our Brunch at Casuarina Prata. Standard for the cheese and egg prata has dropped but the plain prata is still as crispy and delicious. Our workout has gone to waste after eating such sinful bf.

PSLE Seminar

Attended the PSLE Seminar at GRPS. The Principal gave us an opening speech and provided us with the school placing and PSLE results for the last 2 years. The dates for the prelim and PSLE were also given to us. Then we went to the individual classes to learn some examination tips. . We have pre-registered for the following classes, Comprehension/Cloze passage, Solving Maths Problem Sum and tactic to answer science questions. In these 3 classes, we were given the worksheets and the teachers actually taught us how to tackle such questions.

I'm feeling the stress already. Judging on Veona's daily work and CA1 results, it's most likely that she will go to a normal neighbourhood school. Maybe I should apply for 3mths NPL to give her intensive revision.

Our lunch at a Korean Restaurant at Beauty World Shopping Centre. This restaurant is owned by a Korean family and I like such restaurant as the food tasted more authentic as compared to chain restaurants. The service was very good, the owner is always smiling and he even asked us if the food suits our taste or not. He keep coming to us to check if we wanted to refill the side dishes.

The food is very nice and the price is quite reasonable. It also comes with 10 complimentary side dishes and it's refillable.

Shopping at Ikea Alexandra. So many things to buy but we didn't buy anything. hehe. Have to tighten our belt cause we really spend too much recently.

A Bad Day

Had a very bad quarrel with Mil today. Think we woke up at the wrong side of the bed today. It actually started with some S11's issue and it lead to a heat quarrel and we started shouting at each other. I know I should have controlled myself and give in to her butI just couldn't control myself. The worse part was I did not finish my dinner and threw it into the waste basket. I really shouldn't have done it, she must be very disapointed with my behaviour.

Videl is sick

Videl was having a high fever today and was given 2 days MC. So we took the opportunity to excuse ourselves from work. I was on child sick leave while Kennie on urgent leave. Actually wanted to go back to office in the afternoon to settle some urgent stuff but was too lazy. Though Videl was on sick, she's still looks very happy, always smiling and laughing. Anyway she spend most of the time sleeping while we spend the whole day surfing net.

A Twin Baby Girls' Shower party

Went JB for Liz's Baby Shower Party today. Her house is only around 20+km away from 2nd link. Our GPS brought us to Horlan again. Directed me to turn right when there's no through road. Luckily, Linda's hubby had a GPS too and brought us safely near to Liz's house. Can never trust a GPS fully as their GPS can only bring us to the main road of her house but couldn't locate the side road. Our GPS is back to rescue again.

The twin baby girls are so cute. But as usual, Babies are good to look at and play with but I did not carry them as babies are so fragile.

Btw, the house in JB is really cheap. $80000 for Liz's Terrace House which is at least 2 times bigger then a 4 rooms flat. I also want to buy 1 house there.

Shopping at Jusco Bukit Indah. It's very near Liz's house, less than 5km away only. Saw many Singapore Cars there. Think they must be here to hoot cheaper priced groceries.

Back home to complete Veona's Project. Finally completed the project after 2 days of hardwork.
