Last day of the year of the OX. Unlike previous year where Mum will do the cooking, we had our reunion lunch at Peach Garden at Orchid Country Club this year. Think Mum's cooking is still the best. The food here is not really very fantastic and it's so ex but the good thing is that Mum can rest this year.
Yu Sheng Loh Hei. The Yu Sheng is very nice as they have fried lotus roots and Yam. Something special as compared to normal Yu Sheng we always had.
Huat Ah!! Huat Ah! Lotus Root Soup with Dried Oyster Fillet of Sea Perch. Each one of us had a serving of this. Very ex. 1 serving cost $15 Roasted Crispy Spring Chicken Expensive carrot cake Stir Fried Broccoli

After lunch, went home to do some final spring cleaning. Went to Clarke Quay and Chinatown to Jalan Jalan in the evening. The crowd at Chinatown is crazy. A lot of pushing everywhere. Every shops sell almost the same stuff, kinda of boring. We left shortly as we can't stand the crowd and the stuffiness. Clarke Quay is better. It's so much more windy and not so crowded. There's also CNY deco there which spice up the atmosphere.
Our dinner at Watami at The Central. A recommended place for cheap and good Japanese food. Can see quite a no. of Japanese eating here as well.
Bibimbap. Korean food at Jap restaurant. Quite nice though.
