Our breakfast at Commonwealth Crescent Food Centre. This is our first time here. My objective is to try the food at all the Hawker Centre in Singapore as Hawker Centre is well known for nice and cheap food.

Not knowing what to eat so we went to the one with the most customers, Raw fish and porridge. It turned out to be a very disappointing experience. The service sucks big time. Can't stand the helper's black face. Think he must be the boss's son. The raw fish really cmi. Not cold, too many bones and not tasty at all. First and the last time that I will patronise his stall.

Century Egg porridge. Lousy presentation skill . The egg was cut into very big pieces. Might as well don't cut.

The carrot is very nice. Very soft and fragrant but a bit saltish though.

Veona went for tuition at British Council and we did our usual stuff. She will not continue the tuition next year. Can't see any improvement. A waste of money and time. Normally reached home around 3, more than half a day is gone. She would also be too tired to revise her work.

Our lunch at Zion Road Hawker. Nice Fried Kway Teow with cockles. A must have when we are here. Luckily the queue is very short today.

Another stall with not so nice food but with attitude. What is wrong with our culture?
Our homecooked dinner. It's nice to have homecooked food cause we can cook what we like to eat but there's a lot of work to be done & I hate the washing part.
This is 1 of our favourite food though not many people like it because of the taste. It's bit bitter and has a raw vege taste. We felt that it tasted heavenly especially when it's cooked with belacan chili. It's also believed to cleanse the kidney. Beware.. there's a lot of tiny worm hidden inside it. Have to slice it into half to make sure that there's no worm.
Fried fish with Assam seeds
Stir fried beef
A very simple dish. Toufu with dark soya sauce and fried shallots but it's very nice
