Rushed home on to watch the Opening Ceremony for the Olympic. Missed quite a large part of it. The show is surprisingly good with good effect and the program is nicely done up. The kids were quite disappointed as they actually waited till very late hoping to see the Singapore Sportsmen. They didn't manage to catch a glimpse of them as there were too many countries and it's based on the Chinese alphabetical sequence i.e. no. of strokes on the first character for the country. There's 14 strokes in the work "xin" so it took years for our Sportsmen to appear.
