Visited Granny today. She had a bad fall a few days ago. Wanted to bring her out for BF but she didn't want to go out as there's a lot of blue black on her face. Poor thing. Luckily it's not very serious.

Attended Ms Teh's baby full month celebration. Think it's all fate. She's trying hard to have a baby gal but it's still a baby boy this time. Ms Teh's hubby keep pestering us to have another baby to try for a son. No tks even if the Governments are giving us more freebies.

Healthy lifestyle again. We started our run from our house to Brickland Road. Ran less then 30mins and Veona complained that she's very tired. She grumbled that she has not taken her bf and that's why she has no strength to run. So next time must remember to let her eat something before she runs. Immediately after running, we went to eat Wanton Mee at Sunshine Place. Oops. Heard that we will put on weight if we had our meal after exercise.

Nana Curry at Bedok. According to the owner, they were previously from Marina South (my favourite curry of all time) and the Nana Curry at Amara Hotel belongs to them too. Anyway, the standard is not there. Too much coconut and it's not spicy at all.

We went to RSAF Open House at PLAB. Regretted going there cause the weather is super hot an there's nothing much to see and play. The journey there was super long as we took MRT there.

Dinner at Golden Mile (Army Market). Purposely go there to try the Claypot Rice. Was thoroughly disappointed cause the rice is not fragrant at all. There's not a slightest hint of charred taste that a claypot rice should have. The reason is because they didn't use the traditional claypot. Heard so much good review about it but it turned out to be...... sigh..

New boss reported for work on Tues. Guess it's a busy day for him so he didn't get to break the ice with us. Just hope he will not make any major changes to the office.

Kennie meet up with Alice and Karen for dinner on Thurs. They have not meet for quite sometime and guess they have lots to catch up. It's ladies talk so I couldn't join in. :)

Couldn't resist the temptation and finally decided to go for holiday at Japan in Jun. Have been browsing the net on Japan recently and the more I read, the more tempted I am. Think will book the air tickets within these 2 weeks.

Was on off today. Thought it will be a relaxing day for me so I formatted my laptop and reinstalled the window as it keeps crashing. A relax day turned out to be a nightmare as there's missing application in my laptop and my external hard disk crashed. All my MP3s and photographs are gone. It's quite lucky that I have another external hard disk with all the backup.
Had lunch with Kennie. Don't really have the mood as I keep thinking of my laptop and hard disk.

Rushed down to Funan after lunch and the vendor changed the whole hard disk for me. Felt cheated cause the sales staff whom I bought the hard disk told me that the Company will be able to retrieve the data FOC if it crashed but the vendor told me it's not true and will cost around $500 for data recovery.

A**s's customer service sucks. They don't look friendly and helpful. Helped me to reformat the laptop again and reinstalled back all the software.

Visited Mum at Sis's house as I need to help Uncle Huat to troubleshoot his China Brand HP. Heard quite a lot of bad reviews on this brand though there's quite a lot of functions in the HP.

School brought Veona to Sungei Buloh for excursion and I allowed her to bring the camera. Ha. Hoping that she will spoil it and I will have an excuse to buy a SLR. No lah. Just joking.

We participated in the Singapore Bay Run this morning. It has been more than 12 years since Kennie last ran but she still managed to complete the 6KM run at a timing of 60mins. We didn't really ran the whole distance, jogged for the 1st 2KM, walked and jogged for the rest. Seeing that she's very tired, I tempted her to go for breakfast when we reached Suntec but she still wanted to carry on. Was quite surprised that the kids managed to complete the run too especially Videl as she's the laziest among us. We will be back for more next year, maybe 10KM.

To reward them, we had BF at Swenson. The breakfast is just average and nothing to rave about. Will I be back again? Guess not.



We stayed at home the rest of the day as they were too tired to walk and it's raining heavily the whole afternoon and night.

Accompanied Kennie to Aunty Xiuzhen's house to rebond her hair. Think she has increased the price from $65 to $70 but it's still much cheaper than saloon and also much faster. The whole process only took around 2 hrs while saloon will take at least 4 hrs. This time round, I didn't followed Kennie to Xiuzhen's house as the kids were with us. Worried that they might create havoc in her house so we watched their favourite Tom & Jerry show at the void deck while waiting for her.

Went Queensway to buy running shoes for the SBR (Singapore Bay Run) tmr. Kennie and I bought a pair of adidas running shoes and the designs are almost the same. We purposely choose the designs as it looks like couple running shoes.

Dinner with Agnew and Jo at Holland Close. A treat to Jo as it's her bday. They will be going to KTV after that. Too bad couldn't join them as we need to wake up very early tmr.
