Veona are getting more and more violent. Kicked Videl today while they were playing. So pissed off with her. Sometime I wondered whether they will grow up being rebellious or not. I have many colleagues with teenager kids and most of them are giving their parents problems. They are so well behaved and stick to their parents when they are young but the moment they turned teenage, everything changed. They are no longer the obedient kids and friends are the only thing that they care. Sigh... I really hope these days will never come.

Poor Kennie. Hasn't recovered from her sickness and it's getting worse. So sick that she has no voice. She's on MC today and I took half day leave to accompany her.
The kids must be feeling very bored as Justin and Jodie are away for holiday the next few days. Mil will be feeling blue too cause his precious son and grandson are not around.
A bit disappointed with this year's bonus. Will only be getting 2 mths and another 0.5 mths in Mar. Why can't they give everything together? Anyway, there's nothing left after budgeting for CNY, Christmas, insurance, wedding ang pao etc. Sian 1/2

Lazy to blog last few days. Anyway, it's just a normal week.
On Mon, went to IMM to collect the secret recipe cook book for the rice cooker. Ended it's just a few pages cook book. Still thought it's something fantastic or we would not have return back to collect it.
Celebrated Xiu Xiang's bday in the office. We played a trick on him. Get him to blow a cup cake instead of a birthday cake. Can see the disappointed look in him. So funny.
Poor Kennie. She's sick since Weds. She's on urgent leave on Fri as she was too sick to travel to work. Didn't see a doc as she has seen her Co. doc on Thurs and she's also worried that she might faint on the way to see the doc. I'm such a good hubby. Went back home to accompany her during lunch time.
I must tighten my belt this few months. Kanna 5 red bombs for Dec & Jan. 1 of it is Philip's wedding and my whole family will be going to his dinner. Siong Ah.

Shopping at IMM. Bought a Baby play pram for Soo Mee. It's shared between Ann, Sihui and Kennie. Bought a rice cooker. So expensive, it cost $160. Luckily we have the Best rebate, so paid $80+ for it. The sales person claim that there's Artificial Intelligence but don't quite understand the function of the AI.
Went to Soo Mee's house to deliver the pram and help her to setup the pram.

Veona's creation 1
Videl's creation 1
Kennie and my creation.
Prema invited us to her house for Deepavali. Sharon brought her son along too. So cute.
Kids stayed overnight at sis's house again. Going church tomorrow.
Went to Plush, the former Momo and Velvet Dragon. Don't understand why they keep changing name though it's under the same management. Quite desserted as compared to Momo. Didn't really enjoy as the music sucks and the people danced very funny. Left around 1+ and walked to Lunar but didn't go in as there's cover charge. The waiver of entry using HSBC CC is before 11.

So angry with Videl that I caned her. She's supposed to play piano but turn a deaf ear to my instruction. Gave Veona another chance as I have instructed her to call me if Videl doesn't want to play but they ended playing the whole day.

Kennie and I were on half day leave to spend some private moment together. Bought a 42 inches LG LCD TV at Best Denki but it will only be delivered next Sun. Quite a no. of stuff that I need to buy but ended buying nothing again as I was quite stingy. Just hope that the year end bonus is good this year so that I can buy more things.
We decided to cook a romantic dinner as we are not bringing the kids back tonight so we went to Jason Supermarket to buy steak and red wine. The steak turn out to be quite tasty though it's our first time cooking it but we made a mess to our kitchen.

Pre-audit check. Think it's a waste of my precious time.

Nice Beef Noodle
Chicken with salted fish rice. Nice too
Brought the kids to the Church at New Creation Suntec City. Handed them over to the Jie Jie, Kor Kor at the Church and we went shopping. So bad of us.
At Karin's house. Taking some pic before going to Church
Collected back Kennie's N80 from Nokia Care Centre. Repair cost is $50+, so much cheaper than what was quoted. Met Lian Fei to settle our insurance policies, upgraded our Healthshield policies and bought the pink of health policies. Guessed he must be quite disappointed as we didn't buy the investment policy from him despite his pestering.
Walked around Lucky Plaza to check out the price of the N80. There's a shop that quoted us $230 but think he must have quoted us too much. In the end, he kept slashing price as he said that it's not the IE version and the memory card is too small bla bla bla so we finally settled for $210. After bringing our HP to Gods know where and testing out the phone, he told us that he would not be able to buy it as there's some problem with the mouth piece. Crap!! Bullshit!! But at least we got back back our phone as we were quite worried that he might sneak away and changed a spoilt phone to us. We tried another shop and he willing take it for $200. His service was also good and he doesn't look like a conman,
Fetched the kids from Suntec and had dinner at ECP Food Centre. Resorted to illegal parking as the carpark was full and the whole ECP was infested with people.
Food was ex expensive and the quality was pathetic. I was fuming with anger for the quality and quantity to even remember to take a picture. Think the only few stalls worth eating are the Wanton Mee, Beef Noodle, Satay Bee Hoon and BBQ Chicken Wings.

Had dinner with Agnew and Jo. We tried Aston Specialties, a western food restaurant at East Coast Road. The food there was really very cheap, western food at only $6. It's even cheaper than Food Court and the Western Food at Margaret Drive Food Centre. Serving was generous and the food is of good standard.
Prime Ribeye
Black Pepper Steak
Black pepper chicken
Prime Sirloin
Grill Fish with herb
The Menu.
Went to Cosy Bay at Tanjong Rhu intending to chill out there but was disappointed with the place. The whole place look quite peaceful but it's a bit rundown. The bridge linking Cosy Bay and Stadium Waterfront looks quite like the Fisherman Bridge at Danshui Taiwan. Brought back nice memories of Taiwan and making me more persistent to go back to Taiwan again.
The bridge that link Cosy Bay and Stadium Waterfront
Nice view
Disppointed by the rundown state of Cosy Bay, I suggested going to a dessert Cafe at Holland Village. Not knowing the exact location, we circled round and round Holland Village looking for it. We were so happy when we finally found that place. It's a nice chill out place with comfortable sofa and nice ambience. This place is called 2AM Dessert Bar and it's specialized in dessert. Thought it's going to be our frequent hangout place but the price is really ex. Average price of dessert is around $15 and it comes in only a small portion maybe not even enough for 1 people. Each dessert is paired with a wine in the menu, though it's not a must to order the wine but it's recommended as the dessert will taste nicer with the wine. As the price is really at a higher side, we exit the place without ordering. It's really very paiseh but it's better than burning a big hole in our pockets.
Ended having normal dessert at Holland Village Food Centre. Haha.

Amoy Street Prawn Noodle at PSA Building. It came with pig intestine. Very very nice.
Visited Mum at sis's house. Mum forced me to eat the porridge that's for Cara and Crystal. Tasted quite nice but make me feel like baby.
Supposed to meet Kennie's for lunch but she has another appointment with her ex boss. Ended shopping alone in town and only managed to buy 2 Polo T. Queued for almost 2 hour at Nokia Care Centre to send in Kennie's phone for repair. Was quoted around $120 for the repair.
The 2 monsters helping each other to take photo in their room.

This stall is quite famous selling Mee Chiam Kuey. It's not just ordinary Mee Chiam Kuey with peanut or red bean paste. This store has special filling like sambal chilli, hot dog, tuna and many many types. It looks more like pizza.
Ham with Cheese Mee Chiam Kuey
Actually I came here for the prawn noodle. Heard good review of this stall but was quite disappointed with it especially the chilli powder. It tasted like those indian curry powder.
Long House Popiah - 1 of the famous popiah stall in Sg with many stalls in different parts of Sg. Nothing fantastic about it. Tasted just like a normal popiah
This stall sells very nice fish porridge. Fish is fresh and the soup is tasty.
Wanted to visit Granny but she's not around so went to Karin's house instead. So paiseh, she's doing her housework and we went there to disturb her. Went to Ten Dollars Club again. 5 hours of singing. My voice became hoarse after the long hour of singing.
Heard that there's a nice Western Food at Margaret drive so we went there to check it out. Queued for almost 30 mins as it's self service. Coffee shop food with food court price but the serving is quite big. The food is not really very fantastic, kind of disappointed as I was expecting much more than that. Maybe it's due to the long wait and the oily smell that I was exposed to that made me lose my appetite.
Ye Lai Xiang? Sound like those sleazy bar.
The Menu. Expensive food in this rundown hawker
Sirloin Steak. A bit hard and chewy
Fish & Chip. Quite average
Chicken Cutlet - quite nice but the sauce spoil the whole thing. Chicken cutlet should be crispy and dry, and not wet and soggy.
