Taipei Trip - Day 5

Chang Ka Shek Memorial Hall
Taipei and Zhong Shan Underground mall
Guang Hua Shang Chang
Wu Fen Pu
Ferris Wheel at Miramar

Went to CKS for sightseeing. Actually much to see except for the old historic buildings as it's actually closed for renovation.

We shopped at Taipei and Zhong Shan Underground mall, an underground shopping mall linked between 3 to 4 MRT stations. We thought it's a very huge shopping area but there's nothing much there.

As we have nothing much to do, we went to Guang Hua Shang Chang (Zhong Xiao Xin Sheng station) which is like our Sim Lim Square. They are undergoing some renovation and thus they shifted to a temporary site. Beside the usual computer stuff, there's a few comic shops and porn shops. Kennie bought 2 sets of comic back (so heavy).

Had dessert at Sweet Dynasty (Tang Chao) which is at Zhong Xiao Dun Hua MRT station exit 4. Heard that it's opened by Jacky Wu. Anyway this restaurant is the same as the one in Hong Kong. But the standard is really very bad as compared to the one in Hong Kong.

We went back to Wu Fen Pu again. Shop Shop Shop Buy Buy Buy.

This is the world 2nd highest ferris wheel. Took a train to Jiantan (Shilin Night Market) and board the free shuttle bus to Miramar shopping centre. Enjoyed NT$50 discount for each adult ticket using the Youth Travel pass. Actually nothing much to see except for those building lights.

Went opposite to Carrfour to buy instant bowl noodles. I simply love their instant noodles. There's real beef in it.
