Taipei Trip - Day 6
Leo Foo Village
Shilin Market
Guess the kids must have enjoyed themselves the most today. We visited Leo Foo Village which is a themepark that's much bigger and fun as compared to Escape Themepark, HK Ocean Park and HK Disneyland. But the entrance tickets are quite ex. Around NT$1000 for adult and NT$600 for child which include entrance ticket and transport. Kennie got a discount of NT$100+ using the Youth Travel pass. We took a train to Jingan station and transferred to a bus. The journey took around an hr and it's the same bus that's going to Xiao Ren Guo (Tiny land. Will visit Xiao Ren Guo if I go Taipei again.

Show time schedule
This is quite similar to the one we had in the UK funfair. But the speed is much faster.
The kids pretending to take the ride
Kennie: Where is Raymond?
Raymond: Count me out!!
The scenery in the Themepark is very pretty.
Nice boat ride but the weather is very hot
A kind soul volunteered to take the pic for us. It's in the Viking. It's more scary than any Viking that I have taken before
This turn 360 degree round and round
This is very fun. It moves at a very fast speed to and fro.
Taken before we tried it. Stress look.
Kennie with her favorite animal (Chimpanzee)
Raymond and Ostrich.
Naughty Baboons. 1 of them even ran near our bus and wanted to climb onto it.
Lazy lioness sleeping. Open the legs so big. No etiquette
Magnificent white Tiger. Had a hard time taking its photo cause it keep moving around
Cute camel but a bit smelly
So tiring. We need to cycle to make it move
We got stuck on a slope and waited for almost 10 mins before someone fixed it
After an enjoyable day in Leo Foo Village, we went to Shilin Night Market for dinner. This is the food section which is directly opposite Jiantan station. IMO, there's nothing much there as they are selling almost the same food.
Stall selling BBQ sotong, hotdog and BBQ chicken backside (they call it qi li xiang)
Trying the chicken backside. Not very nice as compared to the one I had in Kaoshung years back
Kennie didn't really like it cause it's too fatty.
Oyster omelette stall.
Not very nice as the sauce is very sweet and the omelette is very soggy
Res House
The Red House is just opposite Ximending and very near our hotel. The first floor serves as a venue for the arts, and the second floor serves as a theater. There's some kind of gay party a few nights back. Didn't dare to take any pics as we were worried that they might bash us.
Went back to Cashbox KTV again but was told that the kids must leave after 11.30 pm as it's the goverment rule. In the end, we didn't go in as it's already 10.30 pm.
