It's the 2nd day of the new year and as usual, we cam whore before going out.

Went to Mil's house first before having BF at Railway Mail. The food there is so so only. Heard from some aunties (Kennie included) that it will be unlucky to do house visiting today. House visiting here means to go people's house with the 2 oranges and wish them Gong Xi Gong Xi. So going to Mil's house is not considered as house visiting as we didn't bring any oranges. Superstitious, right?

Went to Granny and Karin's house again. Stayed there till evening and managed to sneak out to River Ang Pao. It's held at Marina Platform again and the usual chinese zodia sign for us to take photo and some UK funfair rides. Expensive rides and some rides look a bit old and wearoff. Not sure if we can trust the safety aspects of all these rides.

Left after a while and went shopping at MS. Most shops are closed and the restaurants and food court are all packed with people. Ended in 1 shabu shabu buffet restaurant. Was happily seated ready to order our food but was told that Veona has to pay adult price. In the end, we left the restaurant cause we felt that it's really not worth it. From what we know, adult price is for 13 and above. She's only 11 lor.

In the end, we went to a Fish Head Steamboat restaurant at Outram Road. I like the name of the shop. Heng Heng Fish Head Steamboat. Heng Heng = Lucky. So let's hope everything will be heng heng after this meal. Food is nice but it's really very ex. I will explain the prices in each photo.

Send kids to Karin's house after dinner as they will be spending the night at her house. Really Pei Fu her as she will be looking after 5 kids tonight. Power!

Forgot to mention that I was summon for not displaying the car park coupon at Granny's place. There's no free parking at her place but most of us didn't display the coupons as we thought that they will close one eye. Luckily I parked at the white lot, some was fined for parking at reserved lots and double yellow line.

My 3 bao bei wearing the same dress

Cai Shen Ye, ring some luck this year, ok.
Dragon made of Malt sugar

A few slices of beer cost $12
Few slices of fish plus the steamboat = $46
Sotong - the cheapest. $6
The most expensive - $5

Happy New Year everyone. Gong Xi Gong Xi. Hope the new year will wash away all bad luck and will be a smooth sailing year for all of us. It's also Valentine Day today but I guess most Chinese will be celebrating the New Year and have forgotten about Valentine Day. Most shops are closed so I think buying flowers will be a problem. Not a problem for me cause I never practice buying flowers. Keke..

Usual stuff before we went out. Cam whoring at home.

Something special for us this year. Instead of going to Mum's house for BF, we had BF at a Temple at Bukit Gombak. The stuff we did every year is very standard so decided to be more creative this year. So we went to the temple to pray for health, luck, etc followed by free vegetarian BF. Though simple, it tasted very nice.

Went visiting at Mum, Granny and Karin's place.

Gold Bar, Nougat, coin. How I wish they are real gold.

Homecooked dessert.

Visited Resort World. It's the grand opening of the Casino and as usual, the whole place is super crowded. There's really little places of interest in Sg so once there's a new opening, everyone will rush there. Everyone wanted to be the first to view the new place. Driving there is recommended if you are going there for a short while or after 7PM. 1st hour parking is $7 and subsequent hour is $5 and you dont have to pay entrance fee. Per entry charges of $5 after 7PM. Whereas you will need to pay for the monorail/bus fare and entrance fee if you are there by monorail/bus. Those walking in are not spare the entrance fee.

The place is actually quite small. Though we do not have the chance to preview Universal Studio, I'm quite sure that it will almost the same size as Disneyland HK. The shops and restaurants are also limited, can count them with my fingers. The greatest disapointment is the Victoria's Secret (The famous lingerie retailer store), the first Store in Asia. The selection is so little as compared to their website.

The casino looks more tempting though. But entrance fee is $100 for 24 hours. I jokingly said that I would rather pay for the annual entrance fee which cost $2000.

Some performance at the main arena

This is half of the VS store. So can you imagine how small it is.
