Went to Karin's house to celebrate Lucas's bday. The celebration is supposed to start at 5pm but was postponed to 6pm. In the end, they reached at 9+. Super inconsiderate. If we would have knew that they would be late, we could have done something meaningful before going to Karin's place. I would have left if not for Lucas and Karin.

Another cohesion activity for my dept. As usual, I send Kennie to her workplace and we had Amoy Prawn Noodle for breakfast. Quite romantic cause we shared a bowl of Prawn Noodle. Haha.

As I was early again, I went to Tiong Bahru Mac to have a cup of coffee and watched Three Kingdoms, Resurrection of the Dragon as I brought my laptop along. Quite a nice show but the ending is quite sad cause my idol, Andy Lau was killed in the last part.

Meetup with the guys and we played badminton at Henderson Community Centre. Had not played for very long. Can feel the muscle strain on my legs, backside, every part of my body.

We had Jap Buffet at Himawari, a jap restaurant at Mt Faber. Beside the normal ala carte buffet menu, there's a shabu-shabu(japanese steamboat) on each table with free flow of thin sliced beef. Overall the buffet is quite nice but it's quite ex costing $500 for 5 pax.

Next, we went to play pool. Super tired after the badminton games and heavy lunch, so couldn't play very well.

Being a good hubby, I waited Kennie to knock off and took MRT with her. Forgot to add that I was pushed by an idiot while getting into the train this morning. This idiot was getting out of the train and he was pushing very hard to get out as those kiasu people were making their way in. So he pushed his way out and hurled some vulgarity knocking into me. I was so pissed off as I was not the one who pushed him so I gave him a hand gesture. He saw it and told me to get out of the train. Not wanting to spoil Kennie's day, I gave him another hand gesture and ignored him. Hehe. Luckily I don't have to take the MRT to work everyday.

We were on leave today as Videl is having her Piano Grade 1 exam. There are few grades available, pass, merit, distinction and fail. Just hope she will pass her exam even if it's just a pass. Got to wait for 2 to 3 mths for the result to be released.

Brought Videl to the hospital after her piano exam. The service given to us is really first class. We do not even need to queue for every stations that we went. The service is prompt and everyone is treating us like VIPs. Haha. That's the power of complain but make sure you complain to the right person. In the end, Videl was given the options to wear spectacle or not to wear. It's lucky that we complain or we wouldn't have found out that there are options available.

Had lunch at Ngee Poly. Everyone is looking at us. Uncle and Aunty in school with their daughter. Maybe we will end up in STOMP website. The food they served really tasted horrible.

Went back to Mil's house accompanied Veona. Still thought we could go dating after Videl's piano exam but ended going to the hospital but at least we are relieved to know that she doesn't need to wear spectacle now.

Was quite pissed off with the eyes clinic on their efficiency. Wrote an email to highlight to them about the bad experience that we had with their eyes specialist 2 week back. As we didn't receive any reply from them, I wrote another mail to their PR section last week. We were really worried that the Videl's eyesight might worsen so I wrote another email to them today. I was so pissed off with them that I cc the mail to the Director of the hospital and Director of the eyes clinic. I was thinking that if they are still not going to reply, I'm going to cc to Minister of Health in my next email. I do not have to do it as I received a call from the Head of the PR section within 1 hour. She assured me that they are looking into this matter and will revert soon. I received another call from the sister nurse informing me to go down to see the Doc tmr. Wow. That's really very efficient.

Videl went to Ms Teh's house for extra lesson as she will be having her piano exam on Tues. She's still not very good in her exam pieces and so require extra lesson. We have decided to stop her piano lesson if she failed her exam. As there's nothing much to do, while waiting for Videl, we visited Soo Mee. Her son has grown quite a lot and look very much like Jian Fu.

Our lunch - Fried rice with salted egg and scallop.

Didn't go anywhere today. Kids stayed at him to practise their piano and do their school work. Visited Granny at the hospital again. Hope she could be discharged tmr.

Kids went for their CCA while we stayed at Mil's house to watched the movie "What a Girl Wants". We have bought the DVD for a few years but hasn't got the chance to watch it till now. Quite a nice show. There are a few scenes when the daughters would dance with their fathers on their wedding dinner. I was thinking if I could dance with my 2 bao bei when they got married. Think it would be one of the happiest moment of my life. Haha. so fast thinking of this already.

Visited Granny at the hospital. She's supposed to be discharged today but she sudddenly had fever. In the end can only be discharged on Mon. Still thinking of bringing her to eat her favourite claypot rice. She looked so weak and restless. Guess she must be very sad that she couldn't be discharged.

The Ang Ku Kueh from Everton. Specially for Granny.

Granny looked so sad

Wanted to go to Tiong Bahru Market for dinner but ended at a coffee shop near the market for steamboat buffet. Saw quite a crowd there and concluded that the food must be nice so ended eating there. Food so so only but we still ate quite a lot since it's buffet.

The chilli is quite hot and nice

Another week has passed and it's already the 2nd half of the year. How time flies.

Ran on Mon and Fri this week. My stamina has dropped so much and I was almost the last few while previously I was the first few. I couldn't run so much now due to my back problem as the impact caused by running would actually injured my back and this explains the reason for the dropped in my stamina.

The office has became a war zone last few days. So much complaining and shouting from one of my colleagues. It's indirectly giving us stress as a result of the complaining and shouting. Super Fan!

Granny was warded in SGH on Weds as she complained of stomach pain. Age is catching up with her and her health has not been very good recently. Really worried about her. Kennie visited her everday while i only visited on Wed. Need to supervise the kids in their school work so couldn't visit her everyday.

Kids had not been behaving recently. They simply loved to argue/quarrel over small small matters, talked back to adults and taking their own sweet time to do things. Threatened them that I will send them to Child Care and it sparkled another arguement with Mil. Mil thought that I was indirectly hinting that she's not doing a good job in looking after them while I didn't mean it this way. Anyway, I was thinking of sending them to Child Care as it would lesser Mil's workload. She has been very tired as a result of looking after 4 naughty children.

Thinking of going Bangkok in Dec to buy our CNY clothes but the airfare has increased quite a lot. Kennie was against the idea of bringing the kids as she felt that it's too extravagant for the kids as it will be the 3rd overseas trip this year. They will be too use to type of life and will not be prudent with their spending when they grow up. Anyway, I think we will shelf off the idea of going Bangkok.
