Kennie and I were on leave today. Watched the movie, Princess and the Frog. The plot was twisted quite a bit from the original storyline and overall, it’s quite a nice show.

Brought the kids to Kids Amze at Jurong SAFRA. Entrance fee is based on per entry unlike Downtown East which is charged by hourly so it’s actually much cheaper at Kids Amaze. As we have never been there before, we joined the kids in climbing the various obstacles. Think it’s super siong especially for me because the entrance for us to climb tot the next level is quite small. I have to squeeze and turn before I can reach the next level. Think our whole body will ache like hell tmr. Kids Amaze boasts the longest indoor slide too which I can’t remember whether it’s the longest slide in Singapore, Asia or …….. It’s too tiring for the 2 old bodies to take it so we rested at 1 of the air gun corner. Shooting people from the top. It’s so much fun as I keep shooting at their head. Haha…

Went shopping at JP after playing.

It's our 12th Anniversary today and it's also known as silk marraige. So I should get Kennie a set of silky lingerie. Haha

Went West Coast Market for bf but super unlucky, couldn't find any parking lot. In the end, we went to Alexandra village for bf. This stall sell super nice fish head been hoon. A must try if you are there but the downside, the lady boss really know how to take her own time to cook.

Instead of celebrating our Anniversary, we spend our day at a Kennie's distant uncle's funeral. We were there for a while and went to school to fetch the kids. Poor Bao Bei, they look so tired and was covered by mosquitoes bites.
Dinner with Mil at Alexandra Village again and we went back to the fuenral.

Kennie's favourite Roast duck rice

Claypot braised Pig Trotter
Horrible Oyster Omelette
Sigh.. this is how we spend out anniversary this year. Luckily, we spend some quality time together yesterday.

Kids went for their yearly Girls Brigade camping at Pulau Ubin today. Kennie and I are really mountain tortoise cause we have never been there before. Maybe we should organise a hiking trip one of these days.

We are really Kiasi parents cause we are worried that something might happen. touch wood.... hehe...we are just been overprotective. Actually the teachers said we can join them to take the ferry to ubin and 1 of us can stay overnight with them. But in the end, we just companied them to Changi ferry point.

Gathering in school

Waiting. Was made to report at 7.15am but the bus only came at 8+
Arrived at Changi Ferry Terminal

Our Bf at Changi Village. I should be avoiding fried and oily food but I just couldn't resist the temptation. The famous stall with the longest queue is not open yet so we went to the longest queue at that moment.

Went shopping at the newly opened 313@Somerset (the former Specialist Centre). Singaporean just love new things cause the place is very pack as ususal. Shopped for a while and mil called and said she need to go to the sinseh. So we rushed back and brought her to the sinseh. Went back shopping to 313 after dropping her.
We did a crazy thing cause we actually queued to go in to Uniqlo. Uniqlo is a japanese brand that sell casual wear and there's a large collection of winter wear. Nothing fantastic for their causal wear, seems like some palia brand. Back to the queuing part. Think the queue is really crazy, from the entering part, to the fitting room and finally to the payment part. You can easily see a hundred people queuing in front of you. They are having the opening sales and thus explain the long queue. But the good thing is that the queue moves really fast. Kids will be very happy cause we bought 2 winter jacket for them.

Christmas display at Centrepoint
Performance at Orchard Central
Our lunch at Orchard Central - Bachmamm Jap Restaurant
The food here is surprisingly good and also quite affordable.
Soba Soicy Seafood
Combo Steak Set
Dinner at Aston Speciality at East Coast Road.

I ordered the cheap cheap Chargrill Chicken at only $6.50. Restaurant standand but kopitiam price. Actually I'm quite stingy so I ordered the cheapest in the menu
Kennie ordered their speciality. Wagyu Ribeye Grade 6. Very expensive @ $38.90. Super heart pain but it really tasted very nice. Super tender and juicy.

Went to see a doc as I was having headache quite frequently and was given 2 days MC. Blood pressure was quite high. Time to change my lifestyle. Sigh.. I wouldn't want to have stroke or heart attack.

Below are what I can think of that might reduce my blood pressure.
1. No more coffee and tea
2. Control my diet. No more fatty food and cut down saltish food and those that is rich in coconut
3. Exercise regularly. To start off, I will exercise twice a week
4. Don't drive so impatiently
5. Don't scold the kids so often
6. Learn to work slowly. Don't so stress up.
7. Learn to relax
8. Sleep earlier.
Last day of our KL trip. Checked out early in the morning. Wanted to go Petaling St for bf but both GPS are not working. In the end, we followed the road sign back to the North South Highway. Drove to Ayer Keroh rest point for A&W. The place is quite crowded and we have to wait for 30mins for our waffle. Tasted so much better than the one at KLCC.

Reached causeway at 1+, traffic was quite smooth. Wanted to pump petrol before going back to Sg but I missed the last petrol kiosk. Sian. Could have saved some money if I were to pump my petrol there.

Had a very bad encounter with an idiot. This #$%%^ tried to cut to my lane without signalling and of course I did not give in to him. To make matter worse, he gave me that idiotic look. It really made my blood boil. Both of us did not want to give in to each other. When the car in front moved a bit, we will try to squeeze in to that pathetic space. Haha... in the end, my bumper scratched against his. i'm ok with it since there's quite a lot of scratches on it already. Think it's not ok for him cause he came down to check both our cars. LOL!! But think it's nothing much or he would have demanded for compensation.
