Kennie and I were on leave today. Good life right?

We went to Rangoon Road for the infamous Bak Kut Teh (Ng Ah Sio BKT) for breakfast. This shop is the one who turned away Hong Kong's Chief Executive Donald Tsang when he wanted to dine there during his visits to S'pore. Anyway, the experience was disappointing. The price is a bit steep. The soup is quite tasty but too oily. The Pork Rib is too fatty. Was shocked to see left over tea leave in the tea pot and I thought they have forgotten to clear away the used tea pot. I changed to another tea pot from the next table and it's the same. Yucks. They expect us to clean the tea pot ourselves. I don't think we will patronise this shop again, we will just stick to the Ah Hwa Bak Kut Teh at Tanjong Pagar Complex.

After bf, we fetched the kids from my in law's place and we went to Outram Park Temporary Food Centre for lunch. Anyway, the food sucks too.

Luge Ride

Cafe Del Mar

Next we went to Sentosa. We tried the cineblast and 4d magix show. Cineblast is actually a 3d roller coaster ride with wind blowing at you and the seats moving to simulate the feeling of the real ride. The feeling is quite like taking a real roller coaster.

As for cineblast, it's actually the first 4Dimensional theatre in SE asia. We can feel the wind blowing in our face, water splashing at us, chair jerking to and fro, and there's a string below our seat tickling our legs to simulate the crabs touching us. Experience for the 2 rides was good but it came at a high price. Around $30 per person for the 2 shows.

Wanted to try the Luge and skyride but the weather is too hot. We went to Siloso Beach instead. The kids were enjoying themselvesd at the beach while Kennie and I took shelter at the nearest Coconut tree. Was quite tempted to go to Cafe Del Mar. Think I will organize a clubbing trip to Cafe Del Mar soon.

Feeling hungry, we went to Holland Village for some bread at Provence Balery which is actually a Japanese French bakery. The signature dishes are the wassat(cream and chocolate) and milk bun. Didn't get a chance to try them as the wassat are already sold out and I didn't know that the milk bun is actually the signature dish.

Cute Crystal

Visited Mum at Sis's house. Have not visited her for quite sometime as I was quite busy recently. Cara & Crystal have grown bigger already. So cute. Remind me of the time when Veona & Videl were there age.

Back to office today. So much outstanding work waiting for me to settle. Also don't know where to begin. Finally able to clear most of the work by end of the day. Hr audit test is on 5 Oct. Hope I can get better grading this year or it will affect the whole HR audit result.

Kennie is also very busy this few days. She will be taking over the jobscope of her collegue as her collegue is leaving soon.

On Off today. Have not been resting well for the past 1 week. Finally had a chance to sleep longer but an idiot gave me 8 miss calls within a short span of 5 mins. In the end, woke up at 8+ and went jogging at the new road that link from CCK to Bt Batok. Had BF at 1 of my favorite wanton mee stalls. They have increased $0.50 for each plate but the quantity is much lesser than previously.

Meet Zhaoming, Xiu Xiang, Zhiyuan, Glenn, Wen Jie and Jian Hui for lunch at Kushibo. Standard has dropped since the last visit. We went to arcade and ZM and XX played DDR. Think we have generation gap. Haha. I don't even know how to play.

ZM, XX , Glenn and I went to Paradise Centre to play pool. Have not played for quite sometime and standard has dropped quite a lot.

Kennie OT till quite late again. Sian.

Gong to have Monday Blue tomorrow. There will be lots of work waiting for me to clear.

Group photo. But the resolution very lousy. So sad

Cheers to the success of AOH

Still feeling very energetic. Of course, cause it's the end of AOH.

Finally the AOH has ended. Actually I enjoyed working in AOH as compared to the usual mundane work in the office. Time flies much faster and we got to interact with the public and think my PR skill has improved tremendously. Anyway, as what SM said, this chapter is closed now. There will be much more work waiting for me. Guess I'm going to be very busy for the next 3 mths.

Another part of Obstacle Course and flying fox. Kennie wanted to try the flying fox but the queue is super long

Kennie and kids came to find me at AOH this evening. Bought Subway sandwiches for me. So nice of her though I don't really like to eat bread as a proper meal. Keke.

Brought them to tour around AOH. Visited Ace World, Combat World and Future World. The kids could not try the SOC as they wear sandals and the queue for the rest for Hitman and Virtual land is also very long.

Kennie, Kevin and the kids came to AOH. We tried Battle Ride World and Mission World. In Battle Ride World, we ride the Bionix and I got the chance to fire the MG. In the evening, we watched the Homeland Security show. Quite a nice show as a car exploded to simulate the planting of a bomb by the terrorist. The Homeland Security was activated and the terrorists were nabbed shortly. Another bomb was also deactivated by a robot. The grand finale for the day was the firework.
