Kennie and I were on leave today. Good life right?

We went to Rangoon Road for the infamous Bak Kut Teh (Ng Ah Sio BKT) for breakfast. This shop is the one who turned away Hong Kong's Chief Executive Donald Tsang when he wanted to dine there during his visits to S'pore. Anyway, the experience was disappointing. The price is a bit steep. The soup is quite tasty but too oily. The Pork Rib is too fatty. Was shocked to see left over tea leave in the tea pot and I thought they have forgotten to clear away the used tea pot. I changed to another tea pot from the next table and it's the same. Yucks. They expect us to clean the tea pot ourselves. I don't think we will patronise this shop again, we will just stick to the Ah Hwa Bak Kut Teh at Tanjong Pagar Complex.

After bf, we fetched the kids from my in law's place and we went to Outram Park Temporary Food Centre for lunch. Anyway, the food sucks too.

Luge Ride

Cafe Del Mar

Next we went to Sentosa. We tried the cineblast and 4d magix show. Cineblast is actually a 3d roller coaster ride with wind blowing at you and the seats moving to simulate the feeling of the real ride. The feeling is quite like taking a real roller coaster.

As for cineblast, it's actually the first 4Dimensional theatre in SE asia. We can feel the wind blowing in our face, water splashing at us, chair jerking to and fro, and there's a string below our seat tickling our legs to simulate the crabs touching us. Experience for the 2 rides was good but it came at a high price. Around $30 per person for the 2 shows.

Wanted to try the Luge and skyride but the weather is too hot. We went to Siloso Beach instead. The kids were enjoying themselvesd at the beach while Kennie and I took shelter at the nearest Coconut tree. Was quite tempted to go to Cafe Del Mar. Think I will organize a clubbing trip to Cafe Del Mar soon.

Feeling hungry, we went to Holland Village for some bread at Provence Balery which is actually a Japanese French bakery. The signature dishes are the wassat(cream and chocolate) and milk bun. Didn't get a chance to try them as the wassat are already sold out and I didn't know that the milk bun is actually the signature dish.

Cute Crystal

Visited Mum at Sis's house. Have not visited her for quite sometime as I was quite busy recently. Cara & Crystal have grown bigger already. So cute. Remind me of the time when Veona & Videl were there age.
