大年初一. 恭喜发财, 万事如意. 祝大家马年快乐, 马到功成, 马年行大运,  马上有钱. HUAT AH!!

Camwhoring in the morning. It's a standard thing we must do every year.

Went to Mum's place to 拜年. She cooked Shanghai Rice Cakes (Chao Nian Gao) for us. Then went to look for Granny and Mil.

Lunch at Mac at Albert Park and shopping at Cold Storage. Buying more stuff for round 2 of steamboat dinner.

Chinese New Year Eve and Reunion Dinner

Last Day of the Year of Snake. Was on off today. Send kids to sch and Kennie to work. Went marketing at West Coast Market. Buying stuff for our own Reunion Dinner. Thought the price would have gone down but it's still so ex.

Stealing some aircon at WCP Mac while waiting for Kennie to knock off. She has been working till 11+ for the last few days. Poor Baby.

Round 2 of Reunion Lunch wih Mum. She cooked porridge and fried bee hoon for us.

Bro gave us 2 can of Abalone. Stitch not included

Went home to prepare our Reunion Dinner.

We will try and stay awake as long as we can so that our parents will live a long and healthy life .  The Chinese refer to this as Shou Sui 守岁.   Shou Sui is when members of the family stay awake throughout the night after the reunion dinner to welcome the new year.  According to Chinese beliefs, children who Shou Sui will increase the longevity of their parents.

A busy day. Swimming lesson in the morning then to Beauty World to buy New Year cookies. Reunion Lunch with Mil and Fil at De' Beer Seafood at D'Kranji Farm Resort.

Last min shopping at Vivo followed by Reunion Dinner with Mum and Sis.

Didnt manage to take photos of all our food. Too busy ensuring that all our orders are correct.
