Swimming lesson was cancelled as the weather is not very good. So thoughtful of the coach to msg me to check if we wanna cancel the swimming lesson as the water is very cold.

We ended at Tim Ho Wan. We were earlier today. Reached at 9am and managed to get in the first wave. Service was quite prompt but the food is not worth the queue. It's better than most of the dim sum shop but to queue for 2 hours is definitely not worth it.

Look at the crazy queue. I think those behind will have to wait for 3 hours or more.
The menu. Not all items are available on the order chits
The order chit. Not all items are available as well.
Plain water cost $0.50. Oh please. I can buy hw many gallons of water with $0.50.

Tim Ho Wan's 4 Heavenly Kings 四大天王

1. Heavenly King no. 1 - 酥皮焗叉燒包 Baked Bun with BBQ Pork (3pcs), S$4.50

Baked Bun with BBQ pork  is nice. Even Kennie ate it though she's not a fan for Char Siew.
2. Heavenly King no. 2 - 香滑馬來糕 Steamed Egg Cake, S$3.80 per piece
It looks ordinary to me. Why is it one of the heavenly kings?
3. Heavenly King no. 3 - 香煎蘿蔔糕 Pan-fried Carrot Cake (3 pcs), S$4.50
Something special. Can feel and taste the slices of white radish
4. Heavenly King no. 4 - 密味叉燒腸 Vermicelli Roll with Liver , S$5.50
The liver is too raw for Kennie and the kids. Can see traces of blood in the liver.
The rest of the items. Heavenly queen, princess, prince, duke etc. Lol
Pork Rib with Black Bean sauce  - Too fatty
Chicken Feet with Black Bean Sauce - I like this.
Prawn Dumpling - Nice.
Pork Dumpling with Shrimp - just average

Vermicelli Roll with beef. We didnt order this. Imagine they served to those customers who dont take beef. Think they will sue them.
This is nice. Spring roll with egg white.
Beancurd skin roll with shrimp - I like fried stuff so definitely a nice dish to me.
Tasteless Yam Sago. They shd at least have some QC before serving,

Our dinner at Blk 347 Bt Batok. 1 of our favourite Teochew porridge stalls.
