Indeed I'm really a very Kiasu Singaporean. Must always be the first (among friends) to try new stuff. Heard that Tim Ho Wan has just opened their 1st restaurant in Singapore and immediately rushed down on weekend hoping to try it.

There's a massive jam at PIE due to accident. 2 lanes were closed and it involved 3 motorcycles and many cars. Hope nothing serious happened to them.  Reached Tim Ho Wan at 9.30am. Long queue has already been formed. I dont think we will be able to get in when the restaurant opened at 10am. Will have to queue for another 1.5 to 2 hours. Sian. Didnt want to waste our previous time queuing.  So ended having Mac breakfast. Bought an ipad 2 for Mum for her Bday. Kennie was the big winner today. Bought quite a lot of stuff.

Kopi at Dome. Have not drink kopi since our GC trip.
Dinner at Eng Seng Restaurant at Joo Chiat. Many people rank the black pepper crabs here as the best in Singapore. It's nice but it's a bit too sweet imo. More pepper taste would be nicer. The crabs are also very small. We are used to eating crab that weight about 1kg and not 500g.

After dinner, we went to Parkway Parade for window shopping.

We ordered most of their popular dishes.
Mee Goreng
Kai Lan
Fried You Tiao with Sotong Meat
Black Pepper Crabs. We told the guy we wanted 3 crabs and he ended giving us 4. Luckily the crabs were not very big. Only 2.1kg,
