Bf with Mil. Finally accepted our date after many attempts. Had the famous Blanco Court Kway Chap at 44 Holland Drive Food Centre. Think there's quite a no. of Kway Chap stalls that claimed that they are the original Blanco Court Kway Chap, I have not tried any of them except for this one. Maybe will try hunting for the rest of the Blanco Court Kway Chap and see which is the best. But it's definitely very sinful to eat it often and super unhealthy.
Went back home to do area cleaning. House is in a mess cause recently too busy/lazy to do area cleaning.
Jiak Jiak Jiak. Time to jiak again. This time, we tried the Fish Head Steamboat at Tian Wai Tian located at 1382 Serangood Road. Tht it opened at 4.30pm on weekend so arrived there earlier like a typical KS Singaporean. The staff were all busy preparing to even bother us and heard from the coffee shop owner that there will be another lady coming at 5 to take order. She's the only one taking order so will have to wait for her to come.
This is 1 of the best Fish Head Steam boat that we had tried before. The previous 2 sessions at Whampoa FC was disappointing. Think only one that is comparable is Whampoa Fish Head (Keng) at Blastier but that one is much more expensive. The fish is very fresh and tender. Soup is clear and tasty with lots of other ingredients in it like seaweed, china cabbage and fried yam.
The rest of the stuff that we tried like the Prawn Paste Chicken and Wu Xiang is just average though they are also their signature dishes.
There's always room for dessert so we went to Cluny Court which is located beside Serene Centre. 3 inch sin is the name of the dessert shop. Hmmmm.... what a seductive name. 3 inch sin? Ya it's a sin to be 3 inch. Haha.
Their speciality is the warm molten cake with a varieties of filling to choose from. We tried the chocolate and hazelnut. Nice. The molten cake is soft and wam with the nice hot filling oozing out. But the place is quite desserted. Not sure if it's because it's a PH or because the place is too inaccessible and thus explains why there's no business.
