We had brunch with Mum and Sis at Barracks Cafe at Dempsey Hill. I'm not familar with the Dempsey terrain and almost couldn't locate the cafe. Though Dempsey is near Orchard area but it seems like a place of its own, a piece of Singapore free from life's daily worries. Food at Barrack is quite nice and it’s a nice place to have a chit chatting session (There’s quite a no. of chio babes there and most of them are all well dressed) with friends on a relax Sunday afternoon but the price is at a higher side.

Their speciality. Squid Black Ink Skinny Pizza. Very nice as the crust is very thin and crispy and the ingredients are very generous

Cod Fish & Chip with Truffle Fries. Truffle fries are just fries fried in truffle oil. I thought it's some kind of special fries so I asked the waitor if he has served us the wrong fries. Haha.. So cuckold. But anyway the fries tasted quite differently and is quite nice. Not sure if it's because of the effect of the oil

No room for other desserts except the ice cream though we really want to try those delicious looking pastries.

Went shopping at Tanglin Mall after makan. After parting with Mum and Sis, we went shopping at the usual place, ION, WISMA and Taka. Parking at Wheelock is super ex, $10.50 for 3 hours. Didn’t know the parking fee was so ex and as I do not have enough $$ in my cashcard, I have to reverse my car all the way down from the gantry back to the car park to top up my card. Sweat…..
