It’s Christmas Eve, the most awaited time of the year. The eve falls on Thurs and so we will be having a super long weekend. So Shiok. No Christmas Celebration at Karin’s house this year cause Karin, Justin and Jodie are at Maldives. A nice experience to celebrate Christmas there but too bad, we exceeded our travel quota this year.

Holiday mood so left office much earlier than the official timing. :p. Fetched the kids from Mil’s house and went to Lot One to meet Kennie. So happy as Kennie doesn’t have to work overtime this year. Watched Alvin and the chipmunks. A bit disappointing cause the show is less than 1 ½ hour. It seems that they are trying to rush the whole show so that the show can finish faster. But overall, the show is still quite ok, enough to keep the kids entertained.

The cineplex is so packed with people.

Had dinner with Sihui at Pasir Panjang.

Since we do not have any activities, we went to Orchard to absorb the Christmas atmosphere. Surprisingly, the car park is not full. Think most of the people out there must have thought that the traffic will be very heavy and decided not to drive. The stretch of pedestrian outside ION, Wisma and Taka are super packed with people. Actually there’s nothing much there, no music, no snow, no fantastic lighting but seems like everyone is contented walking aimlessly on the street. Wanted to stay till 12 for the countdown but Aunty Su called and told us to fetch Mil. Sigh… Super anticlimax. This is how we celebrated our Christmas Eve this year.
