It's Mother's Day. Went to Mil's house to celebrate Mother's Day as the kids bought a cake for Mil, Kennie and Alison. Justin went to collect the cake early in the morning and it's meant t be a surprise to them. Kevin and Alison brought Mil to BP for lunch but we didn't join them as we have given Mil's a treat last week.

Cards and present from Veona & Videl

Nice CAke for the 3 Mothers

Cake Cutting Ceremony

We proceed to Downtown East to check out the newly opened Ferris Wheel. Nothing much there except for the new Ferris Wheel, some restaurants, a bowling alley, supermarket and a mega playground for the kids.

Lunch at Superdog. Not very nice imo and it's quite ex.

Mini Bowl for Kids. $2 per game.

There's a Family Carnival organized by Downtown East. Don't have to spend a single cent and we could watch magic show, singing & dancing performance etc.

The flying table

The chopping board. Ready to be executed.

The disappearing act.

Food Sculpture for kids

Activities for the kids

There were very happy as they got to play and enjoy the food that they have made.

Next we went to Chinatown for dessert at our favourite dessert.

New menu. Ice peanut. Not very nice.

Had dinner at Keong Siak Road. It was recommended by Siew Leng but we didn't get the chance to try the Claypot Yong Tau Foo which is 1 of their signature dishes. They didn't serve us after 45 mins and I went to check the order. They have forgotten our order. What a disappointment. It's our first visit and this happened.

We are seated at the back alley as it's full house.

Cheers. Happy Mother's Day.

Fetched the kids to Mil's house as we were all tired and wanted to let them have a longer sleep tonight.
