Veona took part in the Girls Brigade Challenge, guess the concept is more or less like Amazing Race. Videl went to Girls Brigade HQ to help out in the carnival. Don't understand why they didn't invite us to the carnival.

As the kids will only be back in the evening, we went dating, spending some private moment together. Wanted to go Melting pot for Hi tea as they are having the 1 for 1 promotion but changed out mind due to the heavy rain. Ended going to Nanbantei Yakitori Japanese Restaurant at Far East. It is a restaurant that serves mainly Yakitori and the Yakitori is really very tasty. Service is good and efficient. Went shopping at Far East, Taka and Paragon. Went back after a while as there's nothing to buy since we are going to bangkok in 2 weeks time. Went to NTUC to do some marketing for picnic tmr.

Fetched the kids home and they talked non-stop about their excursion trip. Kennie cooked Baked Rice for dinner. It's the first time she's cooking it and the scallops were not cooked so in the end she has to steam the scallops again. The whole house turned stinky as she used a packet of cheese that is in the midst of turning bad. Luckily, we didn't visit the toilet after eating it. Guess cheese is also fermented stuff and it's ok to eat it even if it turned bad.

Kennie prepared the ingredients for the salad for the picnic and we watched Ah Long PTE LTD. Not recommended for children as the language is quite rough and vulgar, and they speak dialects most of the time.

The kids have not been behaving themselves. Always quarrelling with each other, watching show instead of doing their work and talking while doing their homework. Mil called to complain that they have been chatting non-stop and don't wan to do their work. I was also angry with them for not informing me that Alison is bringing them to Pasar Malam. I'm so angry with their behaviour that I ban them from going out with Karin as she's bringing them for ice cream at swenson tmr. Veona kept apologising and perstering me to let them go. I must be firm or they wll take my word lightly in future.

Went to ECP to train for AHM. Slow timing as I took 41 min to run for 8KM. Last year I only ran 37 min for the same timing. Fetched Kennie from office after the run. Karin brought thethe kids to BP for Swenson. I gave in to them again though I said I want to punish them.

Attended Troy's wedding at Grand Copthorne Waterfront. He's Kennie's classmate in ITE and they are born in the same year same day. Kennie seldom meetup with him but they still keep a close contact. Dinner is so so only and we were sitted with people whom we do not know so we couldn't speak loudly

Busy day. Worked non stop and attended a seminar in the afternoon. Boring seminar and I can't seems to sit still. Moving my butt every few mins.

Had dinner with Karin, Ken, Karen and lucas. Ken ordered so much food, maybe he thought he's still in Kelong. Meetup with them today as Karen wanted to come over to give Veona her bday present as she's not joining us for picnic this Sun. After dinner, they came over to our house for chit chatting. She's trying to talk Kennie into buying those MLM stuff and recruiting her into her Co.

Kelong Day 3

Good time passed very nice. It's our last day at the Kelong. We wanted to go to the town for some shopping but changed out mind as there's nothing much in town.

As there's much to do and it's low tide, we went to the down the kelong to walk the swampy area to see if we could find any good catch in the water. Managed to find a few sea cucumbers. Initially thought it's water snake but the boss told us that it's sea cucumber.

Its Kennie's idea again. First, to wake us early in the morning to see the sunrise, then to walk the swampy area and not to walk the bridge linking the kelong and the mainland. The sun is scorching hot and she made us walk the bridge.

After lunch, the kids and I went to play with the dogs and to bid good bye to them.

This dog was locked up and it's trying to jump down. Barking and whining as it's scare but still want to jump down.

It's time to leave this carefree place that we have enjoyed for the past few days. What a coincidence as it started to heavily rain again (It started to rain whenever we are in the van).

Reached the ferry terminal and we crossed the custom without knowing it as there's no one manning it. We only knew that we have crossed the custom when a kind soul told us that we need to queue up and wait for the custom to open.

The ferry seems like it's going to overturn on the way back. Stressed.

Quarrelled with a stupid idiot who smoked beside the bus stop and blew his smoke on us when he walked into the bus stop. Inconsiderate pig. I would have scolded him more if the rest are not around.

Dinner at Bedok Took a cab home as I was too lazy to take a MRT. The kids stayed overnight at Mil's place so that I do not have to wake up so early tmr.

Kelong Day 2

Dear Dear woke up up early in the morning to see sunrise. Actually I don't feel like seeing but come to think of it, I don't think I have ever witnessed the sunrise before so I force myself up. Glad that I didn't miss the sunrise as the view is something that we don't get to see in Sg.





Bf is normal. Fried mee, fried been hoon, porridge with condiments and half boil egg.

Played mahjung and pool again while waiting for our lunch to be served. It's the type of life that I want. Stress free, slack around, eat and eat, and sleep.

After a sumptuous lunch, we went fishing. Alison and Justin caught a few small fishes but we couldn't even catch one. Haha. I will bring my personal fish rod for my next trip.

We also tried the banana boat. Kennie, Kevin, Alison and Justin went for the 1st round while the kids and I were in the speedboat. I was worried that it might aggravate my back when the banana boat overturned so I didn't try it. I was all geared to save Kennie if the boat overturned. The boat went a few time around the kelong but it didn't overturn. Seeing that it's quite safe, we let the kids tried the banana boat as well. Kevin and I were in it to save the kids if anything happened. Anyway, we told the staff to go slower.

It's dinner time. It BBQ time and we do not need to lift a hand to BBQ. The food was served to our table. Feel like a King and Queen. We were too full to walk after dinner.
