Meet the Teachers Session

Was on leave today for the Meet the Teachers Session at Veona and Videl's school. Slacking at home with Videl as their time slots are in the afternoon.

Veona came to meet us at Lot One for lunch after her lesson. 

Our lunch at Pizza Hut. Set lunch from $7.90 nett.

Went to Veona's school first. She flung her English. Really very worried about her cause it's the Sec 2 streaming this year. If she failed her English for her SA2, she would drop to normal academic. Her teacher gave me an English clash course teaching me how to improve her English.

For Videl, as usual, her form teacher couldnt give much feedback about her since he's only teaching her Science. But she did badly for her Science for SA1. Must give her intensive training on her Science or she might fail her PSLE. God Bless.

Went for an interview today. Sian. At a dilemma now. To accept or not to accept the job.

Anyway dun think so much. It's super long weekend for me. Tmr on leave as its meet the parent session with Veona and Videl's Teachers. Neighcation (Vacation at Neighbouring country) at Malacca on Sat and Sun. Visit to AOH on Mon. Yay

Exam over so can slack a bit before pushing them to revise for their PSLE and Sec 2 streaming. Sweat!

Brunch at Paradise Dynasty at ION Orchard. Have been wanting to try their colourful xiao long bao but they are always full house. No reservation is allowed and the queue is always very long. Was there early so the restaurant is still quite empty.

Ordered 2 sets of this Mixed Dumpling cause every colour is a different type of flavour.  Kennie shared with Videl while I share with Veona.

Then walked down to Orchard Central to shop shop.

Dessert at Wafflelicious at Upper Thomson.

                                                           

Wafflelicious is very ex. $3.50 for a waffle and $3.20 for a pathetic sized ice cream.
Ice cream not frozen enough, a bit too soft.  Waffles are freshly made and there's different flavored waffle. e.g. banana, cinnamon.

The waffle was crispy and fragrant and the inside was fluffy and soft. 

Then we walked to the opposite side and had our tea break at The Roti Prata House. Disappointed with the food.

Day Trip to JB

Day trip to JB. Slight jam at the exit of BKE towards Singapore Custom. The rest of the journey was quite smooth. My GPS brought me to holan initially but luckily KSL City is quite easy to find. Shopping and makan at KSL City. Our first visit there and there's nothing to shout about. Think City Square Mall is nicer. Being a typical KS Singaporean, we must hoot the cheaper groceries from JB. Bought instant noodle, milo powder, titbits, tissues etc. Lol.

Snow Jelly(Hashima) with Ginko. Hashima is made from the dried fatty tissue found near the fallopian tubes of true frogs. May sound disgusting but it has good health benefits to the body and most importantly, it's yummilicious.

Membership at $15. 10% discount for total bill

Went to TRC to ask for quotation for the new bodykit. 500RMB for the bumper and another 200+RMB for the paint work. But first, I need to find a bumper in Sg and bring it here. Sian. So much work. That is why I have been delaying to get it fix.

Washed my car at Taman Sentosa. Cheap and good. Only 10RMB including vacuuming

Back to Sg at 4+. Traffic is smooth.

& dinner at Sembawang White Beehoon (Sembawang 白米粉). The food didnt taste as nice this visit. Maybe we ordered too much or we are tired of the food already.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to my Dear Mum, MIL, Kennie and all the 伟大's Mothers in the World.

Heavy rain in the morning. Had to cancel our hiking trip. A good excuse to stay in bed for a bit longer. Hehe.

Bf at Mei Chin Food Centre. Standard of this stall has dropped. Dont think will return to eat again.

I love the beancurd at this Food Centre.

Then visited Mum. Mum cooked dinner for us.
