Our lunch at Texas Chicken at NEX. Is this the same Texas Fried Chicken at Wisma in the 80s and early 90s? Doesn't taste as nice though. Missed the old Texa Fried Chicken, the big big piece of Fried Chicken.

Just try to clear as much work as I can or I will be the one to die not my Boss. Fetched Kennie and the kids and went to the Airport cause Justin ia back from Hangzhou. 3 letters that I derived from his experience. CMI. Hmmm.. so shd I still go there next year?

So sad. Couldn't enjoy our Japan Trip to the fullest. Itinerary for today shd be back to Tokyo already and shopping at Harajuku. Was comtemplating whether to go for a radiation test but in the end didnt go since it's quite a distance between Osaka and Fukushima.
Called up Delta airline to cancel our return flight and they will be refunding around $320 per ticket. Hmmm.. at least better then nothing. We will also be submitting the claim to Chartis travel insurance claiming the difference between the Delta and SQ tickets. Hope the claim can be successful so that we dont have to pay a single cent for our SQ tickets.
Visited Mum and had BF with her and also visited Mil. They can have a better sleep now as they have been worrying about us for the last few days.
Our bf at Bukit Gombak. Craving for our local food. Yummy.

Shopping at the Pasar Malam opposite CCK MRT. Yuen Yuen joined us too. Veona and Yuen Yuen = BFF.
Nice smelly Tou Fu. Almost comparable to HK and Taiwan's. Didnt know Singapore also has such nice food.
IOI at CCK. So many different brands of bubble tea in the market. KOI, Gong Cha and now IOI.
More local delights for our dinner.

Japan Trip Day 6 - Kyoto
The final day of our trip. Supposed to go Hiroshima today but didnt dare to go as we were worried that we might be stuck there if there's an earthquake again. Really wanted to go there to see the Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima Island.
So ended at Kyoto again. Planned to explore the rest of the more popular temples and Shrines in Kyoto. But Veona was complaining that she's not felling well, stomach pain and wanted to vomit. So in the end, we just shop a while and went back to our Hotel. Feeling the blue already cause it's quite sad that we have to shorten our trip and cancel the rest of our itinerary. Sigh.. Too bad
Well, at least we are safe and sound.

Our bf at Kyoto Station. Nice Bento Set.

Think we are not supposed to eat in the Supermarket cause they announced in the PA system that no eating is allowed in the supermarket.

Our lunch at Ippudo (the famous Ippudo at Mandarin Gallery) Nishiki Market. It's so much cheaper to eat here as compared to Sg.

View of our hotel.
We have been following the TV news on the earthquake everyday. Though we dont understand Jap, but a picture says a thousand words

Our dinner at another Chinese owned restaurants near our Hotel. There's so many Chinese from China and Taiwan in Japan. If you happened to be lost, chances are that you might just pick 1 Chinese on the road to ask for direction.
