Christmas Eve

It's Christmas Eve. Worked half day and went back to fetch Bao Bei. It's the first time that we left them alone by themselves while we went to work. Felt that they have grown up already so they shd be able to take care of themselves.

Fetched Kennie from her workplace and had lunch at Le Chasseur at 31 New Bridge Road which is just opposite Central. The name of the restaurant sound very french right but it's actually a Chinese Restaurant. Sigh.. have forgotten to bring my camera as I was in a rush.

Had a mini Christmas Celebration at Mil's place. It's so so different this year without Karin. Previous year she's the one that organised the celebration. The kids will prepare some games and surprises for us, of course the main sponsor is Karin. But this year, everyone looks so sian. Karen also couldn't make it for the celebration so it's just Kevin and our family.

Played Big 2 and Heart Attack and webcam msn with Karin. Granny was so happy to see her and chatted with her for quite a while.

Repoting to Zhenghua Sec

Was on half day today. Lunch with Kennie and Margaret at Taman Jurong.

Visited Mum. Veona went for her class BBQ session at the recent slashing place. Been an overprotective father, I took leave to accompany her. But went back to Mil's place to slack as it seems that I was not needed there.

Kennie OT till 10 cause doing year end closing. More to come. Sian.

Was on leave today cause it's the release of the secondary result. Thought of accompanying her to the school to collect the result. In the end, we were notified of the result via SMS. She got into Zhenghua which is her first choice.

Kennie didnt OT cause it's Dong Zhi. We had ah balling at Mil's place.

BF at the Roti Prata shop opposite MINDEF. It's now 1 of our favourite prata shops.

Went to Zhenghua. Opening speech by the outgoing and incoming Principal, Discipline Master and some HOD. The best part is the presentation by the Discipline Master. No ganster, no bully etc. Bullshit

Kennie left at 9+. Proceed to buy clothes and text book after the brief. A big hole in my pocket.

Lunch with Kennie at West Coast. Do the art sand at West Coast Plaza. Visited Mum and went jogging at CCK Sport Complex in the evening. Kennie OT till 10 again

Shopping for Christmas Gifts

Bf at Melvin's duck rice store. They are are selling kway chap as well. Still prefer their duck rice. Yummy

Went Nex again and bought all the Christmas gifts from there. Bought a iPAD. Got a $600 vouchers from my Coy's lucky Draw. Yippee. Shall I jailbreak it?

Dinner at this Japanese Restaurant at NEX. Cant remember the name of the restaurant. it's a combination of a few japanese restaurants in one. Food so so only.

Videl is sick again. Shopping at NEX

Wanted to go JB for shopping today but Videl was down with fever.

She's feeling better in the afternoon so we went shopping at the newly opened NEX. The crowd there is crazy. Singaporeans simply love new things. Only covered 3 levels cause Videl looks very pale and sick.

Dinner at Chomp Chomp. Nothing fantastic about the food. Was wonder what's so nice at Chomp Chomp that it's always so crowded. Most stalls sell almost the same things, fried hokkien mee, carrot cake, oyster egg, bbq fish and bbq chicken wings. All this can be found at normal hawker.

Watched the ghost movie, The Child’s Eye at home. It's the first 3D chinese movie but too bad our TV does not have such hi-tech features.

Was on urgent leave today to look after Granny with Baobei. Quite an eventful day for me cause I managed to update a bit of my blog, serve net and at the same time look after granny. Her appetite is much better today. Hehe.. maybe she's happy that I was the one looking after her. Haha.

Granny was discharged today and she will be staying at Mil's place. Hope she wont get stress up looking after her.

Voyage De La Vie

Bf at Ren Ren (People's) Big Prawn Noodle at Jalan Besar. That's rated no. 1 among the list of prawn noodle that we have eaten before. The Wanton Mee and Yong Tau Foo there are very nice too.

We managed to grab complimentary tickets to watch Voyage De La Vie or Journey of Life at RWS, and saw for the first time - a real-life circus/acrobatic/theatre performance. The performance was held at the impressive Resorts World Sentosa Festive Grand theatre, with a huge stage flanked with giant golden dragon sculpture.

Voyage de la Vie presents a talented international cast of over 40 performance artistis from 16 countries. It's about a boy’s (played by Jonathan Leong - runner-up of Singapore Idol in 2006) metaphoric journey through the world of his imagination where he meets unusual characters representing themes such as love, temptation, conflict and life and death. Through his encounters, he learns to overcome challenges in life. It comprises of breathtaking circus acts, contortion, trapeze, juggling and last but not least magic. Cool. The magic performance is so awesome.

On the whole, we felt that the show was pretty good but the sad part is photography is not allowed.
