Attended a Malay Wedding. It's Kennie's colleague's daughter's wedding (wa so many 's. Am I using the correct English?) Haha.. The 1st Malay wedding that we attended was her Son's wedding and now it's her daughter's. She invited so many of Kennie's colleague and I know quite a no. of them so still not so boring. The food is a bit disappointing though. Haha... actually I joked that we shd take back the Ang Pao and reduce the contribution.

Oh btw, what's the market rate for Malay wedding. Some said $5 is enough while some said $10.

Videl is sick

Was on Child Sick Leave today as Videl was having fever. So poor thing as she's having high fever since Weds. The fever subsided during the day but came back at night. Doc said she couldn't find any sign of infection. Will have to bring her back for blood test on Mon if the fever doesn't go off by then. (afternote: only recovered on Weds but didnt bring her back for follow-up consultation as her fever has went down as compared to last week)

Went to Kembangan to pick up Dad. We were supposed to go out for dinner but his friend invited us to stay for dinner. His frd is in the crab business so we had crab for dinner. It's the hairy crab season now so we had that as well. It's the first time we tried that, quite nice especially the crab roes but the crab looks quite ugly with all the hair on it. Oh btw, Dad is back to settle some CPF $$ that was left over by my Grandfather 30+ years ago.Wow.. so efficent of CPF board.

His frds are very friendly. Chatted with us as we are like their old time friends. 1 of the uncle even brief us on some Buddhist studies.

Window Shopping at Suntec

Sleep till shiok shiok and went Suntec to fetch the kids as they went to New Creation with Karin. Nothing much, just window shopping. Dinner at Margaret Drive. No photos cause the photos taken using my LX3 a bit ugly. Think it's because of the lighting. Oh btw, the famous chicken rice at the hawker has shifted to the another building just right in front. It's air-conditioned now so I guess the price would have increased.

A Night at St James Power Station

PSLE is finally over so kids stayed over at Karin's place while we went clubbing. Clubbing with Nigel, Leomund, Max and 2 of our new found clubbing Kaki (Esther and Germanine).

Went Powerhouse at St James. How time flies, it's almost 4 years since we last came here. My membership has expired for years but so nice of the management to renew it for free. Powerhouse is full of NSFs cause there's free entry for SAFRA card members. Make the whole place looked so cheapo. Went Dragonfly but left after a while cause Germanine said the crowd is too old. Still preferrred Berlini Room. There's live band singing R&B songs and the songs they played is also much better than Powerhouse.
