Changed my tires at Poh Heng today. Justin recommended Falken Ziex ZE-912 as Falken has discontinued the Falken 512. It's quieter and smoother as compared to 512. Sigh... Another hole in my pocket. So many things need to be changed and car insurance due for renewal soon. With the economic downturn and the news of lesser year end bonus, I'm really feeling the pinch now.

Dinner at La Mei Zi 辣妹子, buffet steamboat dinner. Address: 275 Thomson Road #01-09 Novena Ville Tel: 6254 2565. . They offered 4 soup base in 1 steamboat. Simply love it cause we got to try 4 different soup base. We almost changed our mind and go to Zheng Fa steamboat (formerly from Marina South and Sunset Way) as La Mei Zi was full house but luckily we decided to stay. Though there are much more varieties at Zheng Fa but the display of the food turned us off.

Peanut Sauce to go with the food. Something unique and it's quite delicious.

So full after dinner. Think will default RT tmr. Haha

Another week has passed. 9 more working days for me. The person taking over me will be reporting for work on 28 Oct.

Was on course on Thurs and Fri. Attending those bo liao computer cse again. Haha. What a waste of time but I got to try lots of nice food at Tanjong Pagar area.

Kids' exam is round the corner. Must put in more effort to coach them. No more outing for them these 2 weeks.

Didn't go anywhere on Sat cause Kids were busy revising for their exam. Boring boring.

Went for RT in the morning. Sian. When will this boring thing ever end? Training was super slack lor. Did some stretching, then some static exercise and ran 3 rounds around the camp perimeter.

Rushed back home to bring the kids to the church. Kids went to church while we went shopping. Bought 2 bottles from the wine fair. Will taste and comment on them later.

Dinner with Granny at Redhill market. Tried their claypot rice. Nothing special and the chicken is too raw.

The funeral was over at around 2+ and we bidded farewell to our relatives. Need to rush back to S'pore to attend a briefing at Kids' school. Too bad, due to a miscommunication, Kevin came back by Woodland Causeway. Knowing that it would be jammed at that hour, I suggested to go to Da Ma Hua Yuan for dinner. Brought our car for a car wash at Taman Sentosa. It has been ages since I brought it for a car wash.

So happy that we are finally back in S'pore as I'm those pessimistic person who always worries a lot when I'm overseas. & we are so happy to see the kids. Miss them so much.

Went back to office to clear some outstanding work before clearing my leave in the afternoon and tomorrow.

Our journey to Seremban was fun. It's my first time travelling in North South Highway. A bit worried at first as we heard that crime and accident rates are very high. Most of the cars are travelling at a high speed and they will start to high beam if they are catching up at a distance and in no time, they will be tailgating you. Soon we get used to it and will return to the left lane after overtaking the slower vehicle. Average speed we travelled is around 120 and the fastest we went is 145. The feeling is so shiok but my steering was vibrating like a drill and can feel that my car is floating. The whole journey took around 3 hrs and it's around 280km from JB to Seremban.

We went to Ah Su's place for dinner first and dropped by A&W for some ice cream float and waffle before going to the wake. The wake was actually held in some casket and I don't know most of the ppl there. We were there for just a short while and went to Uncle's (Mil's younger bro) place to spend our night there. He has the state of the art audio in his living room and another room just for audio. Think the audio alone cost a bomb. Think it could easily cost RM100k - 200k or even more. So instead of resting, we played his audio system till late.

I will moving to my new office on 3 Nov. Actually it came too fast as I thought I will only be going only in Dec. Finally bidding farewell to the place that I have been working for 12 years. I can say I'm both sad and happy to leave this place.

Kennie's uncle has just passed away and we will be going back to Seremban Malaysia tmr. Actually Kennie will be going back with Mil and Kevin but Mil is not very comfortable to go back due to the long journey back. So I volunteered to go back to Kennie and Kevin. I have reservation to go back at first as I will miss my 2 bao bei but I'm also worried about Kennie. Worried that she might be lost without me. hehe.
