It's the 1st day of CNY. Programs are pretty much the same like previous year.

Woke up, dress up and took family photos. Went to Mum's house for visiting. Had BF at her house and as usual, Kennie got to wait till 12pm before she can eat as she's on vegetarian diet.

Next we went to Granny's place. Mil and the rest went back already as they have other program. Went to Big Aunt's place to visit Dad. He's back from HK to settle some stuff. His 2 daughters are supposed to come back with him but in the end didn't come back. So sad. Still thought we could bring them around S'pore. As usual, big aunt's place are full of people and though most of them are my relatives, I don't even know who they are.

Rushed back to Karin's place as she's bringing the kids to her relative's place. So good of her to bring them out even on CNY. Kennie and I went to Mil's house without the kids. Had dinner with her. So boring, most of the stalls are closed.

It's CNY Eve. It's the last day of the year again. Was on leave today. Fetched the kids at Mil's house and went to Mum's place. Wanted to help her with the preparation but she has finished all the preparation. Wanted to help her to cook but she thinks I'm more of disturbance to her. Ended slacking at her house instead. Mum cooked so much food, think enough to feed a platoon of ppl. Packed some food for Mil, a usual practice that we do every year.

Did some final spring cleaning to the house. The kids helped out as well. Quite satisfied with the final result as the whole house look more presentable now.

CNY celebration in camp. Started off with the Lion Dance followed by gambling. We were given $100 paper paper to go to the gambling booths to place our bet. I lose all my money by betting just once at the black jack booth. So much so for luck. After an hour of gambling, we will use the winning to buy the stuff in the auction. There's stuff like PSP, vouchers, speaker etc.

Was on half day leave. Slack at home and do a bit of area cleaning. So tired. Keke. Used to laze around liao.

Kennie went back office. It has been quite a while since she workd on Sun. Watched show a while and ended sleeping. Lunch at Ah Hwa Ba Kut Teh. Bad experience as the staff serving us was quite rude.

Went to Mil's house to visit the kids. So naughty of them, made so much noise outside and didn't come to play with us. Made us so sad and jealous. Haha.

Feeling much better today. Kids went for their CCA only to realize that there's no CCA today. Sigh. My 2 blur sotongs.

Went marketing with Mil for the Reunion dinner. The prices for the food have increased so much due to the festive season. Kennie did most of the preparation as I'm still not fit enough to do it.

Didn't bring the kids back again as they wanted to pay with Justin and Jodie. Missed them very much as they have not went home for a week plus already.

It's the last day of the mth. Time really flies very fast. It will be CNY in a week time. Still much to be done but time is really tight. Whole house is in a mess but I couldn't contribute much due to my back problem.

Woke up with my neck problem getting worse and not much recovery for my back. MC will end today and I will be going back to work tmr. Really worried that my back will not be able to take the strain when I'm back to work. Hope will recover before CNY or it will be my worse CNY ever. Sigh.

Woke up with a stiff neck. Not sure if it's due to my long hours of sleep or due to my back problem. Hope it will go off soon.

Went to see my GP and was given 2 days MC. Sometime I really doubt his ability. He seems more like those out to cheat people's money. I would not have see him if not of the shorter waiting time.

Mother gave me a surprise visit as she's worried about my back problem. Not wanting to let her see my house in a mess, I made her wait at my void deck. Anyway, her skin problem is getting getting worse despite her follow-up visit with the Skin Centre. Didn't join her for dinner as I'm visiting my 2 bao bei at Mil's house. Felt so bad as she came all the way to see me but I only companied her for a while.

The kids were happy to see us as we have not seen them since Sun.
