Shopping at Bukit Indah Jusco. Kids didnt join us as Veona couldnt collect her passport from Singpost. She needs to collect her passport from ICA personally. Maybe the system doesnt have her fingerprint records so required her to collect it personally.

A day of shopping and eating at JB. Was stuck at 2nd link JB custom for about an hour. Sianz. 

Our dinner at Restaurant Star Chef near Legoland recommended by a local food blogger. The ambiance is informal, relaxed and comfortable. Love the kampong feel.  Food is fresh, yummilicious and affordable. Definitely will pay them a visit with our bao beis again.

Dinner with Agnew at JEM. Belated Bday treat for Veona, Videl and me. Hehe

Poor Veona. Sudden onset of fever. She has been having a bad cough for many days so it could be the cause of the fever. It's lucky that she has just finished her Chinese O level Oral.

Scented Candle from Yankee Candle. This is a really nice scent, not overly floral, bright and fresh but the is very mild and weak.

Kennie continued painting the house while I did my favourite housekeeping. Sometime I wonder who is the husband and who is the wife. LOL.

Veona was still having fever. Sigh

It's Youth Day. Stayed at home with kids. Kennie couldnt take leave as she's super duper busy. Visited Mum and had lunch with her. Shop shop for a while and went to her house. Really quite worried about her health. She sleeps very late every night and only wake up at around 12pm everyday. & she will stay at home playing game and doing housework. Not much activities everyday. It's actually bad for her health. Sigh.

Booked the hotel for Sapporo. Air tickets from Sg to Tokyo booked, hotel for Sapporo and Tokyo booked. Only left with the domestic flight tickets and planning the itinerary. Cant wait for the day to come. Yippee. Feeling excited.

Bf at Redhill Market. Finally it's opened for business after closing for 2 weeks for cleaning. Kennie and Kids queued for Khoon Kee Tasty Prawn Mee. The queue was super long. It was featured in some Channel 8 show recently. Guess that explains why the queue was so long. The standard has dropped. Soup not as tasty. I had my favourite duck noodles.

Ikea again. Oh No. Hope this is the last time we are coming here.

Dinner at Zhai Shun Zi Char. Zhai Shun curry fish head only opened from morning to afternoon while this zi char stall opened for dinner. Think they are related in some way. The food at Zhai Shun curry is much better.

Went ICA to submit the passport application for Kennie and Veona.I will always complain whenever we applied for new passport. Why is the validity of the passport only 5 years?

Got into a quarrel with an Aunty while finding a parking lot. She said I cut her queue. She expected me to queue behind her and not go to a empty spot in front of her to wait for someone leaving.

Dental appt. Finally Videl went for her dental appt. Next will be my turn?

Bf at Beach Road Market. Found these 2 Lor Mee stalls. Cant decide which one to eat so we ended trying both. The one at the main area (near famous fried kway teow) tasted better.

Lunch at Bt timah Plaza. Super ex and portion is very little. Food is above average.

Booked our air tickets. Woohoo. Going Japan in Nov. SQ is having a promo now. $2720 for 4 of us

Abalone, Scallop and Bird Nest porridge for dinner. I'm allergic to Bird Nest but I just cant resist the temptation of good food. Heck care. Just eat and bear the consequences later. Haha. But surprisingly nothing happened. Is it because I have overcome the allergy or I ate too later? Nvm. Will again next time. Keke.

Time flies. It's the second half of 2014. What have I done and what have I achieved?   I would say it's really a very hectic year. Everyday passes so quickly. Doing 3 persons job is really no joke. I need to prioritise what is more important and what is my die die must do list everyday. No time to exercise. Can feel that my body is getting weaker and weaker.  Hope I can have more time to breathe for the second half of the year.   I got my job confirmation in Apr with only slightly more than 5% increment. That's a bit of a consolation.

Veona is busy preparing her O level. Can see that she's already putting in a lot of effort but the results are not significant. Is she studying the wrong way? Whatever it is, I really hope she can pull through her O level. A poly admittance would be enough.

Videl is still as lazy as ever. Results also dropped significantly. She's having Sec 2 streaming this year. Hope she buck up. I'm contented if she remains in express stream. Dont need to go into triple or pure science classes. Dont want her to end up like Veona. Studying subjects tat she doesn't like and ended failing most of them.

Finally, my dear Kennie. She's our family's handywoman. She learnt how to use a drill, assemble furniture and painted the house. Of course I helped out but not as much as her. Yes, we wasted quite a lot of time doing all this but it's worth it. So satisfying to come back to our little nest after a day of hardwork. Talk about busy. Think she's the busiest in our house. OT almost every alternate week. & it's not 1 or 2 hours but till 10pm. How I wish I could earn more so that she can stay at home to be Tai Tai or she can find a job that she likes.

Enough of rattling. It's SAF Day today. Boss gave us half day off today. Slacked at home the whole afternoon. Shiok ah!
