Day 0 - Gold Coast Trip

Finally. D day has come. The start of our 1 week holiday to Gold Coast. Woohooo.
Motto for this trip: Leave all stress behind and enjoy ourselves to the fullest. 

As our flight is at 10pm, I'm back to office in the morning and school as usual for the kids. Kennie is on leave today as she has finished most of her impt work. Poor thing. She reached home at 11+ yest. 

Lunch with Karin. She's back from Hangzhou to settle some urgent stuff. So good of her to fetch Veona from school and came to meet us at Lot One. Then she went back to school to fetch Videl. We went back home to do some final packing. 

Ken send us to the airport. Reached airport before 6. Flight is at 10.25. Super kiasu. 

Dinner at Soup restaurant followed by camwhoring session. 

We took Scoot to Gold Coast. It's a direct flight to Gold Coast. I cant really complain much about Scoot as the cheap price ($400 per pax) compensate the service.

Cant stand long flight (8hours is considered super long for me). To make it worse, the seat is not very comfortable. Didn’t sleep well. 

I really dislike flying. Firstly, I have aerophobia and most importantly, the cabin air quality is very bad. It's damaging my skin. I always felt that I aged at least 10 years after flying.  

La Sinfonie d'Amis 2013

No swimming lesson today as the coach is not free today.

Bf at Ghim Moh hawker. Favourite masala thosai and appam. Send Veona to her school for band practice as she will be performing in the band concert tonight.

Went IT show again. Super pack. Left after a while.

Our dinner without Veona. Sushi Express at City Link. Love this place. The food is very fresh, lots of varieties and it's super affordable. All their sushi is $1.50 per plate.  Time to debunk the myth about conveyor belt sushi - not every restaurant with a kaiten belt serves substandard, poorly prepared sushi. Not Sushi Express, at least

On a side note, Sushi Express got the thumbs-up for their generosity - free flow of teabags, small sachets of wasabi that will never go stale, as well as pickled ginger.

@Singapore Conference Hall for the La Sinfonie d'Amis concert to support our Bao Bei.

Cant stand all this rude ppl. They just enter the concert hall when the concert has started.

Company's cohesion at Minds Cafe at Funan Mall. Will organised cohesion. The games are all planned and executed by their staffs and best of all, we were on off in the afternoon.

Went IT Mall at MBS after the cohesion. Lots of thing to buy but money not enough.
