On leave today. Accompanied Kennie to KK hospital for her yearly checkup. Dr Loh SF is no longer in KK. Assigned another Doc to see her. This Doc really CMI, said she only specialised in Gynae and not for other woman's problem. Will be transferring Kennie to Dr Loh's dept on her next visit. In the first place, KK shd not even assign this Doc to her.

Then went Suntec to buy the travel insurance as they are having a travel fair and giving 20% discount. Supporter of Chartis Travel Insurance especially after the good experience last year. Shop shop a bit. Didnt buy anything as we were on budget

Went airport to send off Karin as she's going back to Hangzhou. It will be our turn to fly in less then 4 weeks. Yippee.

Went IMM to do marketing for tonight's steamboat feast. Last week's pathetic steamboat dinner couldnt satisfy our crave so decided to prepare our own steamboat dinner.

Kids do their hw, Kennie preparing for the steamboat dinner and I do area cleaning,  Karin came over to stay for a night. She will be going back Hangzhou tmr and the kids have been pestering her to come over..


Went Lot One to buy assessment book for Veona. Sian. Her results are deproving. Confisticated her phone. Can only use it on weekend. The staff from popular recommended us many assessment books. Was so confused by her recommendation, she sounded as if every book is a must buy. Didnt buy all her recommendation as it's very ex and dun noe if she will have time to do all of them or not.

Called up Hotel TS to cfm my reservation. But the date in their system was different from the date that I booked. OMG! What Happened? Did I tell the staff a different date when I made the booking or did the staff booked the wrong date for me? No point pointing fingers now. What I need to do now is to book the room.

The date tat we want are fully booked. Frantically check for review of other hotels but most hotels around Ximending are already fully booked as well. Found Wonstar I which is also right smack in the heart of Ximendng but it's more ex. But no choice, Beggars can't be choosers. It will be around $100+ more ex. The hotel room looked bigger, 1 double size and 1 single bed.

Wend Sis's place to 拜年. So fast, it's the 2nd last day of CNY.

Went 7th Storey Steamboat @ Marina Barrage to collect the Steamboat set that we ordered from Groupon.com.  It claimed to feed 6 pax but it's barely enough for the 4 of us. Food choices are also very limited and not fresh.
