An afternoon at the Railway Station

Lunch at Railway Station. Kennie has been singing praise to the Malay rice especially their chilli sotong here. So I definitely have to give it a try. It's really very nice but as usual, all this hawkers always like to use inferior rice which I felt that it really spoils the taste of the rest of the dishes.

Saw many people taking out their camera and snapping away at the Railway station. Then I recalled that the Railway station will be shifting to a new location next year. It could be the last time that we are to come here again. So we started snapping and cam whoring too.

A lazy Sat

Kids went to some outing at GB HQ while we went to Dempsey for Brunch. Wanted to try out Jones the Grocer but they were not opened yet so ended eating at Dome. 1 of my favourite pastime would be to have an American BF for Brunch and slowing sipping a cup of coffee.

Veona's Bday

Happy Bday to Veona. Sweet 12. I was on leave today to bring the kids out.

Then we took a bus to Orchard. Went Taka to buy the Super Mario Wii game using the vouchers that Sis has given to Veona. Shopped around Taka and Wisma area and went to meet Kennie at Orchard MRT station. She was on half day leave as she managed to clear her stuff.

Our lunch at Nanbantei Yakitori Restaurant at Far East. This was 1 of the best Yakitori Restaurants before we went to Japan but after trying the original version, we felt that this actually tasted _______. Kennie actually commented that their chicken skin tasted much better then the one we had in Tokyo but we didnt get a change to try it as it's out of stock.
