A Twin Baby Girls' Shower party

Went JB for Liz's Baby Shower Party today. Her house is only around 20+km away from 2nd link. Our GPS brought us to Horlan again. Directed me to turn right when there's no through road. Luckily, Linda's hubby had a GPS too and brought us safely near to Liz's house. Can never trust a GPS fully as their GPS can only bring us to the main road of her house but couldn't locate the side road. Our GPS is back to rescue again.

The twin baby girls are so cute. But as usual, Babies are good to look at and play with but I did not carry them as babies are so fragile.

Btw, the house in JB is really cheap. $80000 for Liz's Terrace House which is at least 2 times bigger then a 4 rooms flat. I also want to buy 1 house there.

Shopping at Jusco Bukit Indah. It's very near Liz's house, less than 5km away only. Saw many Singapore Cars there. Think they must be here to hoot cheaper priced groceries.

Back home to complete Veona's Project. Finally completed the project after 2 days of hardwork.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Singapore version of the Leaning Tower Of Pisa. Nice? Haha.

Mum's Bday and Art Project Day

No CCA for the kids so we had BF with Mil at Tiong Poh Road. Finally got her to go out with us for a meal. She's either too lazy to go out with us or she would call us very last minute that she's craving for some food and wanted us to bring her out for dinner. Normally we would have other appointments so couldn't bring her out for dinner. Had our favourite charcoal porridge and raw sliced fish at Tiong Poh Road.

Went back home to do the Art Project for Veona. Really can't stand her teacher as she gave her such unrealistic deadline to submit the project which is by Tues. The project is not some small easy project which can complete within hours. She has to make 1 of the seven wonders of the world or some well known building in the world using recycled material. Luckily I was so creative and came up with the design to make the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Spend the rest of the day doing the project. What a waste of time as she could have use the time to revise for her school work.

It's Mum's bday today. Mum didn't want to go anywhere far for dinner as she wanted to watch the TV Drama "Ai". Wonder what's so nice about this show that make all the aunties so obesessed with this show. So in the end, we only had Macdonald for dinner.

Birthday Celebration for Mum

Meet up with Mum and Sis for lunch. Sis is going to langkawi next week so we celebrated Mum's bday in adance.

Before meeting them, we went to IMM to shop for the casing for our newly bought IPOD Touch. Didn't buy any as the casing from Best Denki and Challenger are so ex and those push carts are not opened yet.

Our bf at the Hong Kong Restaurant.

Lunch at Peperoni Pizzeria at Greenwood Ave, Hillcrest Park. 1 of our favourite Pizza restaurant. Btw, Peperoni is listed in the following website as the Top 10 Pizza in Singapore. http://www.hungrygowhere.com/top10/ Vote for it now.

This is the place for pizza for the following reasons, extremely large and delicious pizza, nice pasta and nice ambience but the service can be a bit slow during peak hour. We called for the waitress a few times and have to wait quite a while before they attended to us. They do provide crayons for random scribbling and drawing on the paper table cloths. Another good thing about this place is that there's no GST and service charge.

Preparing the pizza right in front of our eyes
There is a wood fire oven near the entrance, where the chefs prepare the pizza

Playing their Ipod Touch while waiting for the Mum and Sis to arrive

The making of 2 young artisits

so engrossed with her drawing

Bday cake for Mum. Baked specially by Uncle Huat.

From Veona. So many spelling mistakes

Belgium Beer - Duvel

Garlic Bread. Very Crispy but the edge is a bit burnt

Deep Fried Calamari

Fried Chicken Wings

Prosciutto Melone Salad - Rock Melon covered with bacon. A bit er xin imo. Cause the bacon looked as if it's raw.

The crust was thin and crispy with generous serving of topping.

Our favourite - Vongole Spaghetti

Happy Birthday to you, Mum. Stay healthy and happy.

After a heavy lunch plus the bday cake, we went to Dailyscoop for ice cream.

New Flavour - Cherry Brandy. Some like it and some don't. Kennie liked it but I think it tasted as though the food has turned bad.

A date with Jocie Guo Mei Mei

We had a date with Jocie Guo Mei Mei 郭美美 at Lot One Roof Garden today. It's actually her autograph session organised by Yes 933 to promote her new album. There will be another autograph session at City Square Mall tmr.

The autograph session is at 3pm and being Kiasu, we arrived there at 2.15pm to chop a place. But the whole place was quite desserted with only a few photographers with their large DSLR camera. Recognised a few of them as they were also present for FIR's autograph session. Wonder if they are really her fan or just there to take photo.

Her fans started to arrive at 3pm. Initially we thought the front part was reserved for her fans club and for those who brought along her CD. So we went to buy one as well so that we can gain entry to it but only realised that it's actually for everyone. Well, maybe it's because the response was not very good so the organiser allowed everyone to go in.

The Emcee, Cai Weibin (Yes FM 933 Deejay) appeared at around 3.20pm and organised some games. Veona was also invited to the stage to play the game. Those who went up get to take a personal polaroid photo with Jocie.

Jocie finally appeared at around 3.45pm. She was there much earlier but was at the backstage. Maybe she was disappointed on the turnout and was hoping that there will be more people coming. Actually we felt sad for her too, she's quite pretty and cute and, her songs are nice too but she's not really that popular.

She looks so skinny and 'flat' but was much prettier in person. Heard that she's just back from Korea for intensive dance lesson to prepare for the album's promotional campaign. Over the fortnight, she polished her dance moves with Super Junior's choreographer and Lee Hyori's instructor, had photos taken by K-pop superstar Rain's lensman and shot a big-budget music video directed by a man associated with cult group Girls' Generation (also known as SNSD).

Though I'm not really a big fan of her, I really hope that she will make it big in the enterntainment line as I felt that she has really put in a lot of effort in improving herself.

On the stage

Veona was feeling shy as usual

So Kennie was invited up as well to boast Veona's courage
