Our breakfast at Redhill Market. Very nice duck noodle. The soup is very tasty and the duck meat is evenly sliced. Receive a bad news that something big happened to the L family. Really worried that the kid will be badly affected.

Meet Si Hui at Orchard after Veona's tuition. Went there to service Kennie's laptop(Aiyo, it's less than 6mths and it's spoilt) and to do some super early Christmas shopping.

Our lunch at Food Republic

Sergeant Chicken Rice

Hainanese Curry Pork Chop Rice. Look ugly but it's actually quite nice

The Christmas Deco at Orchard is very ugly this year. It seems like fusion is the trend now, a fusion of Ang Moh and Indian = rain deer in Indian Saree costume. Looks so obiang. Haha. & of course the signature Christmas Tree at Taka. Don't know whether if they actually recycled the Christmas Tree every year cause it looks the same to me.

"We Are One" charity project. The LEGO bricks are sold at S$2 each to raise S$1 million for the needy. Proceeds will go towards the Community Chest and the President's Challenge 2009.

Christmas Toy Fair at Taka
Cute little Pluto
Though I mentioned that it's the same old Christmas Tree at Taka but we never fail to take photo there every year

We were all activated to go to K's house to discuss the issue that happened to the L's house. Reached home around 1. So tired and feeling the effect of Mon blue already.

Watched 2012 today. Was full of anticipation before I watched the show. Was a bit disappointed initially and I nearly walked out of the cinema if not for the kids. Cause I felt that the show is quite lame at the starting part as they always managed to escape the natural disaster. But however, the show progressed much better than expected.

I asked myself after watching the show. Is the premonition going to be true? Is the Mayan prophecies about the end of the world going to happen on 21/12/12? But maybe not end of the world but end of one era and the birth of a new one. Just like the dinosaur age when sometime actually happened that caused extinct of the dinosaurs.

What shall I do on that day? Think I will definitely take leave on that day and be together with my family. At least I can perish with them if it comes true.

Kids had just gotten back their results. Videl got 89 for both Science and Math, 90+ for Chinese and 70+ for her English. A bit disappointed with her English result as it's a very important subject. In order for her other subjects to excel well, she must be very strong in her English. Time to start doing more revision for her English. Just hope she can still go to the top 3 classes in her level.

Veona got 6o+ for English, 70+ for Science, 80+ for Chinese and 96 for Maths (the highest in class). At least my effort has paid off for Maths. But her English is rather weak. Seems that the tuiton at British Council has gone to waste. A waste of time and money but no improvement.

Quite lazy to blog recently. Anyway, nothing much to blog. Basically, the same old things week after week. Though most people dragged going to work but I felt that even weekday past very fast. Work and work, and the next moment, it's time to go home. Weekend also come and goes quickly.

Our breakfast at Tanglin Halt Market(New). Actually we went there to check out if the old market has completed the renovaton. Seems like it will take another few months to complete.

Tasty Lotong - the stall is at the extreme end of the market.

Laksa also very nice.. Serving is very generous with lots of cockles.
Veona went for her tuition. 2 more lessons and we are free. Will have more time to spend our weekend.
Lunch at Bukit Timah FC. Had out favourite fish soup. Loved their belacan chilli and sliced fish. A pity that the serving is a bit too little so normally we will order the $5 version.

Dinner at the Muslim Zi Char stall at Choa Chu Kang Park. It's our first time here cause we heard that the food here is not very nice. But since we ran out of idea on where to eat, we decided to give it a try. The ambience is still quite ok cause it's located right at the centre of the park. Business is quite good and the food is surprisingly good despite the negative comment.

Fried fritter stuffed with sotong paste

Sweet Potato leave with chilli

Assam Fish Head. The gravy is very thick. Yummilicious

Went to Troy's baby boy's one month celebration. Very cute baby boy, look like both father and mother. Think they have fu(1) qi(1) xiang(4). Didn't get a chance to play with him cause he slept most of the time. Hehe, anyway, I don't really like to play with baby or kids. Troy keep telling his mum and friends that Kennie is the same age as him but our kids are already so big while his is only a month old.

Exam is finally over so it means that I can take a break for a while. Just hope that they will get good grade for their exam. Didn't fetch the kids home tonight but instead went dating with Kennie. Didn't really go anywhere. Dinner at LJS and went back home to slack.

Sian. More stuff are thrown to me. Just don't understand what my boss is thinking. Is he exploiting me? Nvm, I would just need to tahan for another year and I can request for posting. Oh.. btw, I'm in this co. for a year already. How time flies.

Our breakfast at Alexandra village. Found a raw fish porridge stall there and the business is very good. Thought it must be something nice but was rather disappointed with it. Too sweet to our liking.

Took some pictures of the incomplete Christmas deco at Tanglin Mall when we were walking towards British Council for Veona's tuition. The deco is very nice and sweet, just like the candy house in Hansel and Gretel.

They have used recycled material for most of the deco e.g. coconut husk to make the santa claus and parking coupon to make the the flower. Very innovative.

Our lunch at Margaret Drive. Favourite Chicken Rice. Nice!

Went back home for a final revision with the kids. Didn't really revise much. No point stressing them so much when the exam is just tmr. Let them relax a bit.

Our homecooked dinner.
