Some random pic. Nice flower under the void deck of Granny's house. Trying out my photography skill.

A morning at Jacobs Ballas Children Park at Botanic Garden with Granny, Aunt, Karin, Karen and Lucas. Coincidentally, Siew Ling and her family was there too. Weather was very hot that day but we still enjoyed ourselves. Kids played with the playground while the older generation took shelter at the mini pavilion, resting and playing uno stacko. We even played zero point, a game that we had not played for more than 2 decades. But of course I didn't play cause it might break my bone.

A bunch of banana of whatever you call it. Didn't know it can grow to so long.

Wow... see this beautiful pose. Hi Karen Sis, are u playing zero point or lost in your own world of fantasy?
Lunch at Waffletown at Balmoral Mall. Yummy.. Best fast food fried chicken.

Had to leave early as we are going to Joanne's bday at Labrador Park in the evening. The rest continued at Karin's house. But she's not feeling well, having a very bad headache. Think must be due to the hot weather and she also woke up earlier to come to fetch us.
Bday Party at Labrador Park. A nice place to enjoy the sea breeze, to see the sea view and should also be ideal spot to roller blade and jog. It's much more peaceful than the overcrowded East Coast and West Coast Park.
We felt so pampered cause the diry job of BBQing is done by Joanne's friend.

Tues

Sis brought the kids out today. Initally wanted to bring them to ION Orchard but the kids have too many suggestions already so in the end, she brought them to Lot 1 to play arcade and watched movie. So nice of her to bring them out on almost every school holidays.

Kennie and I dated Mum for a dinner at Sakae Sushi.

Weds

Brought Videl for the routine eyes checkup at NUH. Sian 1/2. The power has increased quite a lot this 6mths. Have to change spectacle again. Hope it will not worsen again or she will be like me, can't see without the spectacle on.
Our Lunch at Amoys St Hawker.

1 of our favourite sliced fish soup

Sauce to dip the sliced fish

Went shopping at Centre Point and Orchard Central. A bit mountain tortoise. Didn't know Orchard Central existed until my colleague told me about it. Quite a nice place to shop with many shops selling nice clothes and nice restaurants. It's not like those heartland mall where they sell basically the same things.

There's an indoor rock climbing facility at Orchard Central

Trying out the winter wear at Robinson. They are having a sales now but too bad there's no Sales Assistant to serve us.

School Holiday starts today.

A day at the Army Open House. Time flies. I was the Ambassador for the AOH 2 years ago and the feeling is just like yesterday. Nothing new this year, the same old stuff.

Kennie couldn't take leave and it's only the kids and me. Sharon and Gerron joined us too.

The standard things that we will do. Taking photos with all the static display at the Parade Sq.

Apache

The Leopard Tank

Light Strike Vehicle

2LT Veona Ng.

2LT Videl Ng

Look at Veona. She looks so scare.

Doc Gerron to the rescue

What was Gerron doing? Trying to kiss it?

The usual Anti Terriorist Show featuring SAF, Home Team and the Civil Defence

Sharon and Gerron left after the show and we had our lunch at Kids Land. Kids doing sand art while I make full use of the WLAN to serve net and there's also MDC to "entertain" me.

Lastly, the kids tried out the obstacle course. Queued for 45 mins just to play it.

Dinner with Kennie at Clementi's famous claypot rice

Our queue no.

Went to Sis's place to fetch Veona as she has tuition at British Council. Still considering whether to continue her tuition next year as we have just received the renewal letter from them. Promotion like early bird discount, recession buster discount and sibling discounts if we enrolled by Oct. Didn't really see any improvement in her English and it's quite time consuming to bring her for tuition every Sun and of course, the main reason is because it's very ex. After dropping her at BC, we went back to Sis's house to slack.

Fetched her at BC, and we went Suntec. Kids went to the adult church with Sis and we went shopping. Looking for winter wear as the weather will be very cold at around 5 to 10 degree in Mar. Sigh.. Another huge expenditure. I will not go during this period if I know that the weather will be so cold. Blame me for not checking.

Went to People's Park to stock up toileries. Went to the tour agencies to check out the price for package tour. Just for fun and to check out the price difference for F&E and package tour.

Our dinner at Peoples Park Hawker Centre. Nice fish sliced and fish head soup right at the corner of the Hawker Centre.

Fetched the kids to mil's house early in the morning (to beat the Peak Hr) as they are having their CCA later. Accompanied Kennie to Hairstylist Xiuzhen's house to rebond her hair. Cheap Cheap. Only $65. Loiter under the void deck while waiting for her. Serving net, searching for places of interests for our next trip.

Lunch at a coffee shop beside city harvest.

Went Dempsey to meet up my client to pass something to him. He owned a pub called Dempsey130 there. Think I'm very mountain tortoise as this is my first time to Dempsey (beside patronising the famous durian stall at the car park) though I heard so much about this place. Seems like a nice place to chill out with friends. My client's pub is having a weekend flea market. Nothing much, just a few stalls that sell clothes. Bought 2 T-Shirts at $5 each. Good buy.

The kids stayed over at Sis's house tonight. Hehe... We can enjoy some quality time at home.

The kids have gotten back their CA results.

Videl got 90+ for all subjects and 80+ for English. For Veona, she got 70+ for all subjects and 80+ for Science. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with their results though Veona got 70+ for most of her subjects. She has put in her best effort already and she should also be commented as she does not have tuition for all these subjects. As for Videl, we do not need to worry so much for her though she can be quite lazy.

Some updates for myself. My office has completed some minor renovation. Actually nothing much but I'm happy that I'm shifted to another corner of my office. Away from the noise and my b.... & finally I have my own phone line.

Conducted my lesson on Mon. A bit rusty as I have not taught for almost a month. Was told by my facilitors that they might be nominating me to be the best trainers. Think it's a joke but it will be good if I receive this award. haha.

Sigh... couldn't take leave on Teacher's Day to enjoy the day with the kids.
