Exam is finally over. Kennie and I went dating at the newly renovated shopping centre at the former Commonwealth and Clementi Cinema. What a disappointment. Majority of the shops are selling food with only a few shops selling clothes. Our favourite claypot sesame chicken shop is closed for good. Has it shifted out? 2 x disappointment combo. We ended having Taksin Beef noodle instead. & I dropped a spoonful of chilli powder on the table and the fan blew it on my eyes. Almost cried out from the pain caused by the powder. Keep sneezing and sneezing as it went to my nose too. What an unlucky day!

Kennie and I were on Off today to revise the exam with the kids. Spend the whole day revising and revising. Sian. really very sian.

Received a very bad news from Aunty Yap. 1 of my ex colleague's son has just passed away. He's only 11 years old. Poor boy. Accident or sickness? (afternote: he has committed sucide. Is it due to stress from study?) Sigh.. I must control myself and not pressurised the kids so much.

It's Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers.

Supposed to have BF with Mum but poor Mum, she's having a very bad headache since Fri. Sigh.. Really very worried about her. Her health has been deteriorating in recent years. Went to visit her but left after a while as we didn't want to disturb her.

Kennie cooked Laksa for Mil. Very yummy as there are cockles, prawns and many other stuff. Hehe.. the paste is from Prima Taste.

Spend the rest of the day revising with the kids. Exam, pls go away fast!

It's Vesak Day today. Not really a very special day for us but at least the kids do not have CCA today and also mean that I can drive the whole day. Since the holiday is on Sat, we are given a day off. Will be clearing this coming Mon to prepare the kids for the exam.

Had BF at Chinatown Food Centre before heading to the market to do some marketing.

Went shopping at Tampines One. The whole place is packed like hell. Singaporean simply love new things. Anyway, there's quite a no. of "Special" shop that we do not see in other shopping mall. Wanted to have dinner at Manpuku Japanese Gourmet Town but looking at the queue, I think we got to wait for at least an hour. Manpuku is a 500-seater food hall bringing together ten of Japan's established brands. Technically, this concept is fantastic - it lets your tastebuds travel all over Japan, sampling some of the best in each region. They've got the chefs here for a month, training the local staff and imparting recipes that will uphold the brand's image. The name Manpuku means a full stomach or having eaten to satisfaction.

Was quite disappointed that we didn't get to try the food there and we ended having a lousy dinner at Keat Hong. Business was very good. Think most of them celebrated Mother's day in advance. Food and service sucks due to the good business I suppose. Don't think will be coming back again.

Was on leave on Thurs afternoon to revise with Veona. Didn't really cover much as she has other schoolwork to be done. Was supposed to be on half day leave today as well but decided not to take cause was quite fed up with all the calls from office. Bish...

Finally have time to revise with the kids. Oh no.... my stress is slowly building up. Hope the kids can have better grade this term.
