Bf at Ah Chang's porridge 阿昌粥 at Tiong Poh Road (located near Tiong Bahru Market). To think I don't even know that this stall existed although it's so near Tiong Bahru market. Apparently they used the traditional charcoal way of cooking and the porridge is quite smooth and thick. Think it's cooked for hours using the low fire of the charcoal. The raw fish is just average, think they are well known for their porridge instead of the raw fish.

Another stall beside Ah Chang's that sells nice kueh. Quite a lot of varieties to choose from.

Accompanied Kennie back to office cause she has lots of outstanding work to be done. Busy supervising the kids in their work.

Did some spring cleaning to our house. Come to think of it, we are only left with 3 weekend (minus the Reunion dinner weekend)and it's Lunar New Year. So much area cleaning to be done yet so little time left. Anyway, have come up with a cleaning roaster for these 3 weeks.

Lunch at Margaret Drive Food Centre. Tried the Beef noodle that claimed that he's formerly from Emerald Food Court at Somerset. Don't know how true. The dried version tasted nicer than the soup version. The soup has a very strong cinnamon taste which we don't really like and the meat is too hard.




Fetched the kids from Karin's house and went to Chomp Chomp for dinner. It has been ages since we last went there. The food is not really fantastic but it's really very crowded. Serangoon Garden is quite a happening place with lots of food and food. Will be back for more food but definitely not Chomp Chomp.

Craving for ice cream so we went to ice3 which is also at Serangoon Garden. Nice ambience but the ice cream is like those from Swenson but with a much more expensive price tag.

BBQ chicken wing - crispy and very tasty. 1 of the better one that we have eaten

Famous Fried Hokkien Noodle - It's quite special cause they put the normal bee hoon instead of those thick bee hoon.

Gong Gong - Horrible, it's full of mud/sand.

$3 for a giant mug sugarcane.

It's the 1st working day of the year. Super Monday blue. Luckily we only need to work for a day and it's weekend tmr. Really very phobia in going to work now. Sian sian sian.

It's also the first day of school for the kids. I'm really very sotong cause I thought the school will open reopen next Mon. They are Pri 3 & 5 already. Can we stop the time? I don't want them to grow up too fast.

Kids went karaoke with Karin and Ken. Didn't join them cause I'm having very bad headache and also need to save up for CNY. Guess the kids must have enjoyed themselves and they reached home around 1am.

Mil also went Karaoke with her friends and we fetched her home after that.

Went shopping at Vivo City. Wanted to buy a pair of shoes at Pedro but too bad they don't have the size for me.

Visited National Geographic Concept store, the first in Asia and the second in the world. National Geographic is more than just a store. It looks more like a Museum, or even a feel of the Science Centre. Nice deco! Loved its spaciousness, lightings and smoothing musky sense of nature. There's quite a lot of stuff for us to explore and I personally like the photos section with lots of nice photos.

There is this cold room for customer to test the effectiveness of a very thin layered jacket that cost around $600.

Temperature starts to drop on all part of the body except for the part covered with the jacket

Went to Mil's house for a simple bday celebration with her. Wanted to bring her out for dinner but she's having a bad headache and she's also lazy to go out. So in the end, only have a cake cutting for her.

Wish her good health and hope she will be more optimistic in life.
